This morning we docked near Nuremberg at around 8 am. We ate breakfast with Mel and his wife, and their friends Jim and Sally from Houston. Going into Nuremberg we drove to Zeppelin field to see theLeggi altro
An unforgettable mid-evil, baroque town. The houses were all exposed timber. The bishop said if you plaster and paint your home, you would get a tax break. "If it's not baroque, fix it!"
The store fronts are so beautifully decorated. The Rathaus, or town hall was built in the middle of the river, with bridges on both sides.
Our boat docked just outside Nuremberg esrly this morning and we bussed into town.

Making our way to Vienna. Afternoon and evening cruising the Danube and through our 1st lock, more to come. Great meal, excellent wines, fun table companions and the best chef! Then up to the topLeggi altro
