I thought that this would house a great number of bishops. I was wrong. Only one lived here. The residenz (palace) was built between 1720 and 1744. It took another 36 years to finish the interior.Read more

We have a collection of old and new art here. We showed up at the cathedral around noon, just when the Sunday peal of bells began. It was very loud and long. There was 50 bells rang at the same time!Read more
