Auf unserem Spaziergang haben wir gesehen, dass selbst im Januar im Odenwald draußen allerhand Essbares zu finden ist.
"Zur Krone" heißt unser Hotel in Gammelsbach, einem sehr alten Dorf, das schon im Jahre 772 erwähnt wurde. Das Hotel ist schon seit knapp 400 Jahren im Familienbesitz.
Wir wissen zwar nicht, wie es hier normalerweise aussieht, aber derzeit gibt es hier wohl mehr Wasser als üblich.
Mangels der Möglichkeit in den Alpen auf Skitour zu gehen, nutzten wir eben den Schnee vor der Haustür. Die kleine Skipiste in Beerfelden musste für den Ski-/Schlittenausflug "herhalten" . SpaßLue lisää
I love this town. So much to see, lots of lovely old buildings, churches, houses, history and some incredible tales. I definately would come back here one day.

On our way down south, we had a stopover in Beerfelden . We had a great time with “Oma Elke”. And our first sausage on the grill. Though it was still a bit windy and cold-ish.
