    November 28, 2017 in Italy ⋅ ⛅ 5 °C

One of these days I'll say I slept well. Today is not that day.

I showered cause I felt yuck and didn't want to waste the fact we have a private shower. I washed my hair. The treatment stuff made it easier to wash :)

    Off we went.
We got on the water boat. Everything looks so nice this morning.
No one checked our tickets so we could have saved ourselves some money. 😪

It took us over to the other 'island'
    Off we got.
    Immediately liked it.

I had the Rialto bridge pre loaded in maps so off we went.

On the way we walked past St Marcos * so we popped on inside. The outside is more impressive than that inside. The outside is seriously incredible. Still, nice inside. You couldn't take photos but entry was free so no complains here.

The thing about Venice is, every single building is the same style. It's not some beautiful buildings. It's all beautiful buildings.

I think I was expecting more canals but there was still a lot.

I like the bridges you have to walk over.

It was like a labyrinth. So many twists and turns and dead ends.

It's so beautiful. The flower boxes out of windows add to the charm.

The main bridge wasn't what I envisioned. We still got some photos. ✌🏼✌🏼

We found a little resturant to eat at next to a dead end canal. I had two wonderful servings of bruschetta.
Will is compelled to correct my pronunciation every time. Lol

We just walked really. We both really really enjoyed it.
    So much to look at.
Each bridge had a different beautiful canal entry.

    So many bloody gondalas.
We didn't end up getting one because they were too expensive.
And we figure our ferry boat sort of counts as a boat ride? I mean, it's in the same water :)

Lots of artists and pigeons around.

I FEEL LIKE THE BIGGEST DICK.
I gave a sad looking homeless man money and he looked so excited about it - as I was walking away I realised I got the money out of the wrong pocket so I gave him the wrong currency meaning he can't even use it.
    His poor heart.
    Hating myself.

    THE MOST EMBARRASSING THING.
I was taking selfie and a man approached me -
He said something and I go "sorry, English"
He looked at me like I was retarded and both him and Will said together "that was English"
    Bloody spastic.
I felt like such a tool. It was heavy English but still english.
    Automatic response.
It was way more embarrassing than it sounds reading it back but trust me, it was mortifying and Will has been laughing at me allllllll day.

We made our way back to St Marks square.

We then caught the boat to some island because our 24 hours wasn't yet up.
We went in the church of saint Georgio Maggiore. Nothing special. It was going some random display thing which made no sense but it had a cool mirror set up of mirrors in a circle so when you stepped in you got reflected in heaps of ways.
    Fun fun.

We got back on the boat - that 0/4 for ticket checking.

Back at the hostel we just relaxed in the warm lobby.
I actually really like this hostel excel for location.
Well, not so much location as the price of the ferry.

Will got a beer and when the kitchen opened we got dinner.

It was a really good day. I rate Venice highly.

Made the free breakfast again ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

We packed and then checked out.
We had to pay 5€ for the lost key card *grumble grumble*
Walked to the metro, bought tickets and went down to the platform.
It was about a 20 minute journey to the station we needed.
We got out and waited at the bus stop.
I got a memo this morning saying the bus would be 30 minute late. Handy, or else I would have been freaking out "WHERE IS IT" hahah
Got on the bus and stole the front seats and Will actually fit 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 it was a 3 hour ish journey. Not much to see on the way.
Our driver kept doing really long blinks which was giving me real anxiety lol. I made Will put his seatbelt on just in case.

    Arrived in Venice woohoo.

We got lost 😓 the map took us to the wrong terminal and then we couldn't find the right one. By this time the sun had set which I hateeeee because being lost in the dark is so much worse.
I asked for help and found the boat terminal. It needs better signage.
BLOODY HELL ITS SO EXPENSIVE with what they are charging they should have flashing neon flights with big arrows.

7.50€ for one ride of 20€ for 24 hours 😨😨😨😨
We had to pay the 40€ because we will have to go back to the mainland and then back to our hostel again tomorrow.
    What a rip!

Side note Jaxon for his Santa photos yesterday and I think it's so funny it's now my new screen saver.

The boat ride went for agessss. So many ports.
Will was freezing and so miserable.

Jumped off at some place and walked a bit to find out hostel. The reception was great. Well really everything is great except location.
We got upgraded from a 16 bed dorm to a 4 bed so thats coool. We have our own toilet and shower. Us and another girl who isn't very friendly lol.

We went out to dinner down the road - it was run by asian. It was weird to hear them speak fluent Italian. I wonder if they also have such nasel accents in Italian too🤔🤔🤔

The portions were shot so we went back to our hostel and Will got another pizza there.

Am now in bed. Trying to stay awake so I sleep through the night.

    Sooo i fell asleep and now it's 12:30 🙄

    November 26, 2017 in Italy ⋅ ⛅ 7 °C

We had a proud team moment this morning - we got up in time for the free breakfast 🎉🎉🎉😂

We then went back to bed through because both of us are just not sleeping.

At 1:30 I had a shower. It took me 2 attempts to figure out how to use it. I had to ask for help haha

    This hostel is dirty 😩

There is a 1km street in Milan that is suppose to be the most compact shopping street in Europe but everyone gave it crappy reviews so we skipped it.

Instead I found a badass cemetery on trip advisor which looked cool because the Italians always do the most overboard mosaliems ***

Long walk but we entered a really nice area. It's got a lot of construction underway but will be a contender in the future for a hot spot I reckon.
It had some wonderful eco buildings.
We finally arrived and at first we though we had to pay to enter which I think would be outrageously disrespectful - especially for those who have relatives inside but we didn't. False alarm lol it just has a lot of security.

Righto, so, this place was intense. The sculptures and crypts were so over the top. Even if you didn't get a house you got a statue.
I loved how old some of the photos were. One lady died in 1897 and she had a photo.
Some graves were beautiful. But still unnecessary.
The leafless winter trees made it extra creepy.
Scooby doo and the gang would visit here.

We walked around for a while but my tummy was chatting so we went next door to China town.
We found a delicious resturant. My Cantonese fried rice was just like the stuff from Kennys 😭
We only spent $31 so that's great. We are trying to only eat once a day so we spend less than 50€.
Today as significantly under budget 😎

Will didn't bring an appropriate jumper so he was freezing so we did also buy metro tickets to get us home.
the system was similar to the British so we figured it out.
It's 1.50€ for 90 mins of unlimited travel.

    Got home and crashed hard.
    I fell asleep around 6 and it's now 1:22am. I'm awake 🙄 lol
Venice tomorrow. I've had another look at the hostel and it has a lot of hidden costs. Some tax they are gonna charge us on arrival and we have to catch an expensive boat to actually get there 😪
    Still keen though.

Some weirdo fate thing that I end up in a cemetery the day I would normally go visit Nana.

    November 25, 2017 in Italy ⋅ 🌫 8 °C

I think i might have said this before.... 🤔🤔🤔😓
we were kept awake by inconsiderate German asswipes.
5-7am was a continuous cycle of them singing at the top of their lungs then them getting shushed then 5 mins later they would start again.
We slept terribly because of them and the snoring old guy in our room. 😪

We walked 3.5km to Duomo - Milan cathedral. The floors are covered in grates which were really slippery because it was raining. The umbrellas everywhere made it so hard to walk and even harder for Will because all the umbrella spikes are at his eye level lol
On our travels we saw some interesting "fashion" items for sale. I've uploaded my favourite shoe.
    Isn't it just disgusting?
    Probably $3000.

The Cathedral was beautiful. We didn't go in because the line was over 100m but we still enjoyed it. It's the 3rd biggest in the world I believe. Gothic styled.
We then went walking through Galleria Vittorio Emanuele ll. It was a very nice gallery full of all the expensive brands no one can afford like Prada, Louis Viton* , etc.
The gallery had a Christmas tree in the middle.
I liked the tiles on the floor. Colorful.

We then kept walking on to Sforza castle. It was nothing special. Will reckons it reminds him more of a military training area. We then walked straight through it and into
Parco Sempione - a beautiful park - it was soooo misty! Spooky.
I petted a very wet Labrador on the way 🤗 his dad was Embarrassed lol
At the end of the park is an arch called the Arco della Pace. Standard arch but still very nice.
We had an argument over the Roman numeral dates... turned out we were looking at the different ones lol.
    "ITS AN L" "NO ITS A V"
    Heh 😏
We then walked back. Our backs were killing us.
We found a decathlon store and popped inside. Looks like that's where we will be buying our winter stuff. Excellent prices.
The walk nearly killed me. I got the giggles. It was just so far away.
    At least I was toasty.

Finally got home and I nearly cried with relief haha we just sat in the kitchen for an hour doing nothing. It was wonderful.
It was then I realised I have lost another key card. My bad hahah 😅😓😅😓😅😓
Hopefully we aren't charged. Not like it works anyway lol

Eventually we got up and went to dinner. I had some womderful pasta but stupid Italy has this resturant tax and so we got charged another 3€ for no good reason.
Having to pay $4.50 extra for "service" when I had to go to the counter to pay because everyone was ignoring us is not the type of thing I like paying for.

We went home and we booked our accommodation for a snow field in Austria 🤗 it had gone up 75€ in like 3 days so lucky we checked.
Haven't figured out how to get there but we will figure it out.
It cost us $1100 for 6 nights.
We will only be on the snow 4 days though.

I then went on workaway and have made an enquiry for a place in France. They need someone to house sit and care for their ELEVEN dogs in February. Will said yes as long as I pick up every poo. I agreed. That will be alottttt of poop though hhaha
We'll see what they say. They might already have someone.

We went out for a walk to a supermarket and got some fruit.
They had plums to my great joy.
The selection from Eastern Europe has notably improved.

Oh oh oh we saw a guy walking around in an astronaut suit several times today.
He wasn't working or attached to a business or anything like that.
    It was very odd haha

We also walked past where they are filing X factor. Indont recognize a single judge but cool.
    The road had barricades.

    Back to beautiful buildings 💕

    7:45 start yuck.
    Packed up then left.

Lucky our taxi driver doesn't speak English. We tried to say we will pay 2000Lek then he got out a roll of cash to show it would cost 1500... done - lock it in! Hahaha

Nevermind. Will tipped him...I had a small hissyfit about it. stop spending my money lol.

Boy oh boy, what a morning!

We first got some food then went to check in.

The lady was like sorry there is a problem with your names - this company only lets you fly if all your names are included on the booking - it didn't have our middle names listed - It cost SIXTY EURO EACH to fix.
Will stormed over to the help desk lol
It's absolutely bloody ridiculous because for starters that more that our ticket to begin with...
secondly - it said name NOT names online - I rechecked. there was also no middle name section.

    Stupid fine print.

Never have we needed our middle names before if it hadnt asked for them
And THEN THEY PRINTED THE TICKETS AND OUR MIDDLE NAMES DIDN'T EVEN FIT ANYWAY.

Expedia and the company shall be recieving an email tonight.

    Total money grab.

We went trough customs and I beeped so I got swabbed for drugs - I know I'm clean and yet you still panic someone has touched you lol. The lady did such a unnecessarily thorough frisk.

My bag then got pulled aside and I had to go through it with a lady.

    Very full on.

We boarded the plane and shock horror Will didn't fit very well.
We are so tired so it was an uncomfortable 2 hours.
We arrived in Milan and it took us an hour to get through Customs. We were getting very worked up. We didn't mind the standing and waiting but all the Albanians from our plane and Macedonians from another were shoving us and standing on our feet. Everyone was pushing and shoving - it was like watching year 2s line up for lunch.

We got in without a hassle to my EXTREME RELIEF.
He must have had an automatic Schengen calculation on his screen because he didn't question us. All he said was Aussie Aussie Aussie.
He stamped next to our awkward, unused Visas.

Wills bag we found next to the carousel and not on it ?

    Yayaayyayaya we made it!!!!!

I bought us tickets on the shuttle bus - 5€ for an hour journey so that's terrific- better than a taxi!!

I had a mini nap on the way.

Considering what we are paying our hostel is a total hole.
so many things don't work and it has an unnecessary security barrier gate thing - the ones that wind...
The keycard doesn't work so they have to scan you in anyway?

Uhm? The toilets have working hours hahahaha
You can't use the toilet in the hall during the night. Instead you must exit through the windy gate and go to a completely different side of the building.
    Good job.

There was like a huggeeee party walking out as we arrived. They would have had over 200 beers and a massive funnel.
They spoke German. Of course... always the bloody Germans who are so loud and rude. At least they are not in our dorm and it's a 24 hour reception so if they come back and are ass hats I have someone to go complain to haha

We went to McDonalds because we are tired and it's next door. We will explore tomorrow. It's 6:15 and we are both In bed.

Wifi doesn't reach our bedroom and I have a top bunk again 😓😓😓

Cute circle rainbow happened around our plane shadow. Photo doesn't look as cool.

Everyone was so loud so we only rested rather than slept.
Some old 55+ year old man has come in and hasn't even made his bed. He smells. This is why hostels get bed bugs. He looks as if he has brought a few.
Another lady came in and she didn't stay. She was high class Milan fashion and I don't think this place was quite to her tastes hhaha

Sooo we were both awake until 6am and I didn't get down til around 8 😅
It was a 3pm wake up hahaha

We went to KFC again but then we were productive..
We got our money for the taxi tomorrow, bought my magnet, got milk for our cereal and then went to get Will a haircut.
Will put in barbers in the gps and we started walking towards it. Near by he suddenly stoped and I ran into him and so I asked him what was wrong
As he checked his phone he replied "it's possible the mens room is a strip club and not a barber" 😂😂 the fluro pink flashing neon light of a lady in the distance gave it away. We went searching elsewhere hhahaha

I saw a bin man going through the rubbish and salvaging some old chicken for a stray dog 😭😭😭😭😭

Found a barber and he was so cute and didn't speak english.
    It was only $2!!!!!!
    🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Slept through til 1:30 😅😅😅 bigggg sleep. I was tired hahah

That ruined our walking tour plan..

We went to KFC for lunch.

Came home and I showered and booked all of Germany. We have accommodation and all trains booked up until Dec 27.
Bank is reeeeeaaalllllyyyyy hurting. We still have $1500 owing to hostels on arrival but at least all deposits are paid.
In Germany we are going to Berlin, Dresden, Cologne, Frankfurt, Nuremberg then Munich.
It cost less to stop in a lot of places than to go direct and stay in Munich for 2 weeks.

We are worried about going back to the Schengen or more so - Italy - we are hoping our unused Visa doesn't cause us any trouble. It shouldn't - I just hope their English is good enough for us to explain what happened if it comes up.

Also have no idea about the company we are flying with so hopefully it doesn't crash 😅🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Downloaded Big Bang season 10 and started that.

Went out for a date at a Mexican restaurant which did a great taco. No Pina colada on the menu :(
I had a giggle - there had heaps of USA 🇺🇸 flags hanging everywhere and no Mexican. That's one way to piss of Mexican guests hahaha

We walked home past the most ridiculous wedding cake shop. One cake was as big as me.

All the power boxes are painted. Every single one.

When will kissed me earlier he has some how managed to scratch my face with his beard and now my face stings.

I'm gonna smash one of Wills sleeping pills tonight because I didn't sleep again. I am so exhausted. 😔

We have gone out to buy Will razors and I got hair treatment. We are now at a Pizza shop - super cheap - family pizza for $5. Now we're talking.

We went home and watched some episodes of Rick and Morty because everyone keeps talking about it.
I think it's a show that would be great for people that are high. It's a cartoon about a mad scientist dude who takes his slightly slow grandson into new worlds with monsters and stuff lol
We could only watch 3 before having enough... and yet it's slightly addictive so we might try it again another tome lol.

I went to bed at 5 cause I fell asleep on the couch.

I tried a new Fanta flavor today. It was like passion fruit with a hint of kiwi. It was refreshing.

Don't know if previously mentioned... there are So many wedding dress shops on the Main Street!

They also have bars where people go to just watch soccer and drink.

Woke up early to Skype with mum and dad. So good to talk to them. I always have a list of things I want to say but forget every time. Thad looked so fat.

I spent the day organizing everything. We spent a ridiculous amount of money today. Near the $2000 mark.. but that includes flight to Milan and Berlin and trains from Milan to Venice to Verona to Florence to Rome to Naples. We have paid for the Bnb in Naples and a deposit on all the other hostels. We are hoping to stay in Wills friends house in Milan.
That will take us to December 12th so that's good. I made a big boo boo with our flight to Berlin though. I mixed up the euro with the pound sign. Ouch. It ended up costing over $400 😦😦😦 eeekkkk. There wasn't really another option though so it couldn't have been helped anyway.

We also looked at the snow fields in Austria and I sent though an enquiry email.

We walked to some fast food chain pretending to be a maccas but it was not very good -.-

    More Big Bang hhah

    November 19, 2017 in Albania ⋅ ☁️ 12 °C

Only got like 3 hours sleep so taking that into consideration I had a good buzz this morning.
We left at 9:30 for our 10 o'clock bus.
I made Will buy food before getting on cause I said I can't handle his Moaning and groaning lol

The bus ride was really good actually.
We talked to this American dude from Colorado for the whole time until he got off at his stop around the halfway mark.

Getting through customs was really chill. They stamped us in but not anyone else and no one of the bus knew why lol.
They also didn't collect our passports from us - the bus driver just handed the pile over to him meaning they didn't actually ever look at our faces lol. They could have let anyone in.

One girl was asked to get off the bus which I felt stressed for her about but it was just cause she was from Argentina and the officer want to speak some Spanish with her 😂😂😂 back on she got.

Once over the border we had to change bus which we did but what was weird was that there were people in the other bus swapping with us to get into our bus. Seemed a bit pointless haha

We both slept the final 2 hours once the American got off.

The landscape is how I imagined, cute little farms.

We arrived and walked to a cafe where our host is suppose to meet us. We had to give them a 30 minute warning so we let them know and had a drink.
Our house was literally right behind. There is the fattest stray dog who lives at the entrance. He has a water bowl and 2 blankets lol. Obese.

We had a 4 hour nap..

Will blocked the toilet with a big poo he made me come look at. It wedged itself so it couldn't be flushed. Disgusting but impressive lol

We went out to get groceries but too late we realised we had put in the wrong address 😑
Back home we went - the Main Street is like a bloody wedding expo. Dresses everywhereeee.

We went out for dinner at some Wok place around 9:30. It was kinda drizzling outside and unfortunately some of the tiles you walk on aren't secured into the ground so my whole shin got saturated with gross water when I stepped on one and it flicked water everywhere 😒😒

Food was eh but it was acceptably priced :)

We got groceries on the way home

We Watched rumor has it and lots of Big Bang episodes.

The photos are just of some of the area. Nothing exciting.

Went to the bus stop and bought tickets for our trip to Tirana tomorrow.
Then we went to hard rock again for lunch 😂 no where else to go.
It was our first time walking in daylight. The river we walked over looked nice.
Walked back home and bought milk on the way.
    Another boring day.
    Feeling refreshed :)

    Big Bang marathon again

We then facetimed Jess and Jaxon - Jaxon half nearly drowned today... they are currently on a legacy retreat and a girl was holding Jaxon, she got distracted and went to play with her brother and left Jaxon In the deep end of the toddler pool. Jess was close by and obviously rushed to him but he was struggling under the water for a few seconds. 😶😶

It's 2:47pm and thus far we have had breakfast and done the dishes. That's it.

    Watched Big Bang.

Went to dinner at hard rock again. Service was shit so we didn't tip 🤗
Walked past the American embassy- it is once again ridiculous. A Fort Knox.

Commbank down for the 72 time - 2nd time in Montenegro alone. We had to use our other card. Loving the extra costs 😑😑😑😑😑😑

I wanted a cup of tea so bad I boiled water on the stove.
This house would be perfect if it had a kettle and a drying rack. Oh and tongs.

The air here is really making my chest feel tight.

    I couldn't sleep again.
So I got up and I watched 50 shades darker on the laptop - I then went back to the bedroom to try sleep again but got kicked out because I was being too loud with all my tossing at turning hahah
I don't know what time I fell asleep but I know at 6:03 I was awake.

We have also been spending time trying to figure out our route when we go back to the Schengen. Can't wait to go back lol

I had an hour long bath/shower this morning trying to sort out my birds nest which is getting worse and worse by the day. My hair has actually died. I want to buy treatment stuff but it's like 10€ 😑boo.
We went to the shopping center down the road and fun fact - Montenegro does not have a single fast food chain which is outrageous because Iraq had McDonalds and Afghanistan has KFC.
Only option was some cafe thing. Eh.
Didn't really want fast food but I'm more pointing out the chance of them having a food court is laughable.
I found a random souvenir store and took my chance and bought a magnet because it's unlikely I'll find another place to get it.
I got a cat bottle opener. We have literally done nothing in this country so it's the only relevant thing I could get.

We bought pasta and sauce for us to make ourselves dinner with tonight and went home.

1 season of Big Bang was watched today 😂

We cooked the pasta but the stove is really bad so the water never reached boiling? Sections were overcooked and others were not cooked enough. It was pretty crap, but cheap so whatever.

We did another load of washing and hung them up outside. Will is out of long pants so he has put on my track pants but they are too short so he looks like a dill.

    Another beautifully lazy day.

    Goood sleep :)

So we did nothing all day😂😂
I looked at work aways and that was the only thing I'd consider productive.

Our tv doesn't work so the dad came and took it to get fixed.
We were like it's fine don't woryy about and he just kept saying "no I MUST fix it" - he was very cute.
Off he went to get it fixed. How very efficient lol.
Within 30 minutes he was back. He fiddled with it for 30 minutes and made 2 phones calls and hey presto - the sound came on 🎉 off he went lol.

We went out for dinner - we put a Chinese place into our map but along the way we came across a Hard Rock Cafe so we popped in there. We didn't spend a cent today so the prices evened out to be ok lol.
The mango berry cooler was there 🎉🎉🎉 (had it in Poland)
We had chicken wings and I had bruschetta. Food I actually wanted 😭😭
The waiter was unfortunately very good so we felt obligated to tip because he was going out of his way.
    Damn lol
Walked home and I fell asleep on the couch. William the complete dickhead woke me up at 1am by tickling my face so I opened my eyes and he was standing over me and I screamed.
Heart rate was through the roof.

Thanks to the big idiot I was then wide awake and watched pride and prejudice. I liked it much more than when I saw it with mothers group lol
If I hadn't made myself read the book I probably still wouldnt have got it.

We had to check out by 10 even though the hostel is practically empty so we just waited in reception for an hour before going to the station.
Bought our tickets and on we got the bus but first Will went and got a bottle of water - he came back laughing. As he was walking past the shop a man came out of one of the offices to go somewhere and he beckoned .... suddenly 3 cats waltz out :) they had a box and chair to sleep in for the mean time until he came back hah
It was a 2 hour ride and I slept the entire way. I don't know at what time I go to bed last night but I know at 5:38 I was still wide awake lol.
Arrived at Podgorica and luckily we walked the way we did because the plan was to meet the Bnb owners dad at the house. As we were walking a man approached us and said hi are you looking for bojana. Firstly, lucky we didn't brush him off because it's normally annoying taxi driers who approach you at stations and secondly luckily i knew our hosts name cause Will didn't have a clue. Yes, we wanted bojana 👍🏼
He drove us to the house.
The outside of the building is so ugly. The corridors smell like bubblegum.
The lift to get up to the 5th level is so dodgy lol hopefully
It doesn't break during our stay.

    We just chilled

    It's a cozy little apartment.
We went to the shops to buy some basics then came back and both had a 5 hour sleep lol oops.
I've wipped out my sleeping bag because it's cold.
I cooked us hotdogs for dinner which would have been lovely if the bread wasn't stale 😒
We both showered and then watched Big Bang for hours on the laptop. Unfortunately the Tvs sound isn't working for some reason so the dad is gonna drop by tomorrow to have a look.
It's 3:30am and now it's finally time for bed. ☺️

    Horrid sleep.
Was still wide awake at 4am 😪
Luckily Will slept through his alarm so we didn't get up until around 1 😏😏
It's shit weather today so our plans to climb up the mountain got canned. Not that disappointed to be honest.. it's really high 😂
Went down to the bus stop to buy tickets for tomorrow but for whatever reason you can't pre buy them. Lucky there is like 20 options throughout the day so we will definitely get on one.
We went to old town for breakfast which was ok. The place is deserted. Everything is shut so It took a while to find food.

FUCK THE EURO 😭😭😭😭😭😭 its at 0.61 cents atm. We can't afford to lose half our money 😭😭😭😭😭. WAHHHH.
    Cat museum still closed 😔
It has started to rain so we have taken refuge in a cafe.
    The heater is great.
I ordered my first ever coffee. I'm a little let down. I will force myself to finish it though.

It then started to proper storm so we were stuck at the cafe so we got a lemonade - everywhere sells fresh lemonade, its the best.
It bucketed for ages but we finally made a run for the hostel.

I read my book and Will watched videos until it was time for dinner.

We tried 3 places but they were all shut because 1. Kotor is a ghost town and 2. Probably the storm didn't help.

We found a grill and it was delixiousssssss.
There was a black cat sitting at the door in the rain looking in through which reminded me of my baby boy so I cut my chicken up, went outside and gave him so much 😂
He would have been a happy boy. Good gracious I miss my cat.

Home now - Will stayed in the room on his convenient bottom bunk but I went to the foyer to keep reading and watch the thunder storm.
Bnb tomorrow and boy am I keen.

We also booked a Bnb for Albania tonight so glad that's sorted 🙂

Oh and important info I forgot to add. The place we ate this morning had a picture of a mans crotch frozen on the screen.
    Heh.

We are both just really worn out. We have 5 nights in Podgorica to recoup but I've decided that when we enter back into the Schengen zone we will go do the big exciting stuff first to try get the bedazzle back.
    We are thinking Paris.

The supermarkets are really getting to us. I honestly dont know what everyone eats.
They must have hidden shops everywhere cause their supermarkets only sell snacks. No meats no edible vegetables. Nada.

Turns out Will got bitten too. We weren't sure but he has woken up with his leaky boils. 😷
Lucky we still had cream from Morocco. We put that on and got ready for the day.
The port is quite nice but I still think some of the spots we passed yesterday on the bus were better. Lake Ohrid is still my favourite bag overall I think. It has at least made the longer lasting impression.
We went to old town for breakfast.
So the official symbol of Kotor is a cat. There are so bloody many! But they are a symbol of luck for the city! There are so many cat stores and food everywhere. We went into a cats of kotor shop and I left with a mug 😏😏 it has all the different ways to say cat in other languages. The store also sold bags of food.
We passed another store with 10 lingering around a food bowl. One orange heffa was guarding it.
They are all so cute 😭
Will wanted juice so we stopped at a place that advertised it - we had such lovely tomato soup there I want to go back again. Lol
We just walked around the old streets. I like that it's practically empty. It adds a nice feel. EXCEPT TO MY COMPLETE HORROR- the cat museum was also closed. disappointed is an understatement. It is suppose to be 1€ entry and the money goes towards stray cat food. But we did read some of the signs and I'm gonna sign Thad up to be a friend online to the cats of kotor lol.
Outside was a funny sight but.
One cat had 2 kittens and some other adult cat came over and started suckling too 😂😂😂 it pushed the kittens out of the way.
Maybe a previous kitten because that's the only reason I can think of such a tolerant mother lol
We then went and sat by the bay for ages. It's really not that wow. This is the it place of Montenegro and I'm not overwhelmed lol.
LOVED BOSNIA. But so far this is eh. Keen for the capital because everyone has said don't bother going. That normally means I'm going to like it haha

We are now back home and enjoying some tea :)

We went out for dinner and were super cheap and shared a pizza. Good pineapple ratio today 👌🏻

When we got back I finished my book and have made the realization it's a series -.- which is bad cause I'm hooked and the books aren't cheap because they are new and recently made a movie 😐😐😐😐

We have had a few teas today in the foyer which has been quite nice.

We got destroyed by bed bugs 😩😩😩 I found and killed 3 so I know it's not mosquitoes 😒😒😒😒

We left and headed to the bus stop. We used all our left over change to buy food and snacks. Silly us. We forgot we would have to pay to put luggage under the bus... some kind Turkish man paid for us.
    Oops.

The journey to Kotor took 6 hours but if they put in a straight road it would have taken an hour and a half.
It was bend after bend after bend after bend after bend.
    And then some more bends.

Our driver had maybe 9 smoke breaks too which was so annoying . The bus wasn't full though so that was terrific and Will grabbed he back middle seat so his knees fit.

We arrived and it was only 300m to our hostel which was easy to find - no one was at reception so we had to wait a while for someone to let us in.
    I have a top bunk AGAIN. 😭😭😭

I am so itchy! More bites are appearing by the hour. I emailed the hostel dude to let him know.

We dumped our stuff and went to the supermarket to buy soap and tooth paste and also in vain, we looked for tacos. Still nope 😔

We showered - such a stupid set up. It's just a curtain with nowhere private to get dressed. Sigh. Will saturated his pants because his didn't have hooks lol

It gender separated here which only a few hostels have been.
There is a funny rules sign. Rule 3 gave me a good laugh. the proficiency point hahahah (see photo)

We went to the old town for dinner. It was really quite and dark so we will explore properly tomorrow. Lots of cats :) We had a pretty cheap feed considering they use the euro - boo hiss.
WHICH HAS REMINDED ME - I STILL HATE COMMBANK. They were down AGAIN.
We had to use Wills normal card - Aagain 😭😭

Also the euro conversion is a dead set killer. We went to get out 150€ and then the atm was like that will be $254 is this conversion ok.
We said no lol. We opted for commbanks conversion which we don't know if it is any better but fingers crossed.
But seriously that conversion is ridiculous.

I fell asleep at 7 but people in the dorm woke me up at 12 then I had trouble going back down because I was so damn itchy!!

I have nearly finished my new book too - miss peregrines school for peculiar children. It's significantly darker than I expected. I had to have a break because the monsters where scaring me lol

    So tired lol

We walked to the station and bought the tickets. The walk was so hot!! My neck was dripping!
Getting tickets was easier than usual. No yelling match today 👌🏻 the glass infront of them is always so sound blocky.

We weren't sure if we would get the first available bus because it's a Friday and people might be off for the weekend but we did 👏🏼
The bus ride was longer than on the way there. I also felt sooooo sick. I had one of Wills motion sickness tablets which made me much better.

The bus was full. People actually had to stand up for the 2.5hr journey lol sucks to be them.

Arrived and bought our tickets to Montenegro tomorrow! Keen.

Then we walked to our hostel which is next door to the Bnb we stayed in.
People let us in but the owner wasn't there yet. We waited an hour - he eventually came. I was a little Annoyed because I had previously messaged him telling him our arrival time because he made a specific note in the booking to let him know.
But he was instantly forgiven - such a likable man! His name is Arman. He made a comment about us arriving at 4 (my message said 3) he must have simply misread it.

So far we are by ourselves in our room - the hostel has a few guests but not with us... yet.

We went out to dinner and I had the best pasta I have ever had. My mouth was in heaven. It was garlic with vegetables. Oh my 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Back home now. Still so tired!

    Still bloody love this place!
I got an ice cream on the way home and it was DISGUSTING! I made Will have a lick and he had to spit it off the bridge because he couldn't swallow. It was suppose o be pistachios but it was cherry medicine.

    A beautiful nothing day. ❤️

We were gonna go to the war tunnels until we found out they are 11km away walking or 30 mins by taxi. Was Not paying that fare so we didn't go.
Instead we went and got the same breakfast- chicken salad 🤤🤤 then sat in a hookah bar (someone bought a baby🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️) then i bought a magnet - in very pleased with the design.. before we went home and relaxed. I fell asleep.

Nothing else happened until 5:30 when we decided to walk 4.4 km because we were craving Indian food and there was only one option.
Our 9km round trip will help burn off all the fantastic butter chicken.
It defines hit the spot hah

Back home now - popped out in thongs for pomegranate juice and received some looks 😂😂😂 big jacket and thongs - why not? Hahah

I finished Pride and Prejudice. Not gonna lie, feeling posh and smug about it.

The last 30% is significant more exciting and easy to understand than the start. Maybe because I was use to the stupidly phrased sentences?
She doesn't just go next door, no. For that would be too easy. Instead She waltzes most certainly with frivolousness in step, the loveliest of kind she will find there, and certainly she will be pleased, most fervently indeed with the well mannered introduction Mr Jones will present to her, in no uncertain terms, with vigor; the meeting of families.
That is not an extract - I made that up but like seriously what the crap is that.

Either way I read a classic yay me and now I want to watch the movie to make sure I understood properly 😂

    Went to bed at 3:30am.

    November 8, 2017 in Bosnia and Herzegovina ⋅ ⛅ 8 °C

We left at around 11 this morning - first grabbed breakfast in old town at the place we ate at yesterday.

I made a point of having a look at the main green topped fountain today as we passed as it's on like every magnet and obviously the symbol of the city.

    Today's walk nearly killed us.

It was 5km to get there but it was vertical the whole way. We literally climbed a mountain.
We were dying and had a break every street.
I genuinely can't believe how steep it was.
I tried to capture it with my phone but it didn't work.
It was as steep or steeper than the street I drove down on the way to Wills - just past the hospital.
But 5 KILOMETERS LONG 😭😭😭 the views were lovely though ( I noticed this on the way back down - on the way up we were busy hyperventilating 😂)
We started walking through farms and ended on mud tracks due to the rain last night.

We spotted a few of the old ski lifts on the way.

Skipping the constant complains and woeful cries from both of us... we found the start 😭😭😭😭🎉🎉🎉🎉

We had a celebratory 10 minute break haha

Will ran up to the luge start - it was too high for me - I didnt risk trying in case I fell back down onto the piles of glass so I just watched him. He made it first try. 👏🏼👏🏼 only just.. 😝

He walked down that and I walked down the bobsled track until our tracks met up.

The track was so so so so cool. Completely covered in graffiti which made it look awesome. We walked down the entire track and took heaps of photos. Some of the trek had bullet holes in it. The walls on the straights weren't as high as I thought they would be.
It was so cool to imagine the Olympics here and how different it would have been (1984 Winter Olympics)
It was fun imagining everything from how the competitors felt to the spectators watching from the Sides.

We saw a few others people exploring too but everyone always stayed on set paths because there could be unexplored Land mines in the forrests.

There were destroyed buildings at the finish line which we had a look around and I popped a squat in because I was busting!!! Hahah leaving my mark in history 😬

Walking back down the hill Will kept slipping in the mud.

We came across 2 more bullet hole covered buildings we had agreed to explore on the way back down.

    They had graffiti too.
Will checked all the holes for old shell casings. The second building was a mess. A bomb must have hit. We went in and explored. Everything was shattered.

Back down the hill. So steep it hurt our knees stopping ourselves from falling. I did land on my ass once though lol

There was a massive old landslide in the distance.
Because we were above the city, looking down was so cool! All the houses are slightly different colours. It's wonderful
Walk walk walk. We were much quicker in this direction hahah

    MADE IT THANK HEAVENS.

We walked though many cemeteries - not sure if they are from the war cause literally everyone died 1996/97

Home woohoo we both showed because we were saturated.

We went out for burgers for dinner.

It was happy hour so we got double drinks. My pina coladas were amaxinggggghh

    So tired! Lol

The music from the bar is so bloody annoying! Trying to read again and I can't concentrate.

The girl in our room left so we are by ourselves now. The worker hadn't been here today so I think, unless someone is in the other dorm and very quite. The entire building is ours.
I'll still be locking the toilet door.

I really like Bosnia. It rates very high on my list.

    November 7, 2017 in Bosnia and Herzegovina ⋅ ⛅ 10 °C

Will was on alarm duty this morning because he had the bottom bunk with the phone chargers but he only got us up at 10:15 for a 10:30 tour 😑 panic ! Lol
Lucky they have a similar system to African time so we made it 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿 haha

Our guide was fantastic. Probably the best speaker we have had - not once was there an awkward pause or story like so many other guides.
She had the most ANNOYING mole above her lip though ... but she was such a good speaker she distracted me enough to not notice... well almost 😅 ha

She started with a history lesson which goes Sarajevo was first occupied by the ottomans, then the Austrian Hungarian empire before becoming Yugoslavia then they had a war before gaining independence.
There is obvious buildings from each era - for once I could actually tell.
    Turkish is Bazaar like
    Austro Hungarian buildings are pretty
And the Yugoslavian are boring communism.

We walked through a park and around 25 men were gathered around a big chess board. It was really cute. There was a final showdown going on - only like 5 pieces left.

She talked about politics which is confusing as all hell. They have 3 presidents. One catholic (Croatian) one Muslim (Bosnian) and one Orthodox (Serbian)
You must be of the religion to be elected.
And all 3 must agree if things are to happen.

I can't remember it all because it made zero sense but their system is one of the most confusing ever!

There is only one active synagogue in Bosnia and it's in Sarajevo which we went and saw.

Jews come under the 3% "other" religion in Bosnia and don't get represented in the government. There is a movement that our guide took part in - their sort of census thing happened and a lot of people made up religions to make the "other" group bigger to hopefully one day get recognition.

The most important sight of the tour was next.
The spot Frank Ferdinand and his wife were assassinated which started WW1.
Its on the corner of a street. Well, he was in a car but that's where the assassin stood.
There were actually 6 assassins waiting along the street.
One threw a bomb and missed. People were injured but not killed. When the bomb went off - The driver drove them to the town hall in a panic - it was as they drove back down the street later that it happened.
Funnily enough the 2 that actually did something - the bomb and shooting were the only 2 to receive 20 years in jail because they were underage (19 but then that was still underage then ) the other 4 were executed. the reason they did it was to try and get the Austro Hungarian empire to leave... like that was ever gonna happen if you kill the prince 🤦🏼‍♀️

Because after the war Yugoslavia was formed the 6 people actually were viewed as heros and the bridge opposite was named after them. They have since been recast as villans and the bridge returned to its original name (Latin bridge I think) the guide said it's really interesting to read her parents old history text books and note how differently things are phrased.

We had a quick break and I had my second sip of coffee ever that I liked - times are changing lol

We then went to the Emperors mosque just to have a look. Sarajevo has 200 mosques. More than the capital of Iran 😂😂😂 it was because every section of the city was to have 3 things - a Mosque, bakery and fountain.
We then went to a church and beer factory. The church has a nice system I think. Once a week it opens its doors to every religion. Anyone can come and pray to whoever their god/s are.
While it makes me feel funny I like the notion. I like to think that if I lived somewhere without Christianity and no churches I am given somewhere to go and pray.

We walked along and there was dog on the roof. I had basically been the only person taking photos the whole tour but suddenly everyone whipped them out - he was the main attraction of the tour hahaha

We went to town hall. Over 2 million books were destroyed during the siege (91-95*) So much history gone. 70% of all the cities books.
The guide was alive during the war - she was 7 so old enough to remember a lot. She remembers the book ashes floating through the air. People also burned there own collections to keep warm + their furniture.

There is a house near the town hall thats name translates to "the house of spite."
He didn't want to move when they were going to build the town hall. They came to an agreement - they must move his house brick by brick - and they did 😂

We found a Sarajevo rose. There is about 50 left around the city. They symbolize a spot between 3-60 people lost their lives in the siege.

We walked through the old town and ended up in some old school hostel which concluded our tour. We gave a shitty tip but it was a big tour group and she didn't even say it was tip based.

We went back to the hostel to brush our teeth then went back to the old town for food. Cheap again yayayaya and we were both very happy with the quality. Bosnia you keep winning me over.

We then went to Gallery 11.7.95. It's a memorial of sorts to the 8000+ victims of the Bosnian genocide.
    It wasn't free as I thought - 6$

You walk in and it's victims faces. I always like this type of display because I find them powerful.

You then walk into a gallery with some very very powerful images of the war in general. Some were very provoking.
There was also a video that we watched with more images and then a scenario skit.
One man in Rome having his photos developed in 10 minutes and then 10 minutes in Sarajevo where a boy went out to get water - attacks coming from everywhere and came back to a dead family.

During this film it came to our attention I had dog shit on my shoe and it stunk!!

We went to a shopping centre to loom around and I tried rubbing the poop off on the escalator spikes steps 🤗

We then went and had a tea/coffee and chilled out.

We saw the eternal flame 🔥 on our travels.

I bought Turkish delight or "Bosnian delight" as they called it 😂 but I ate too much I think. I feel funny.

I have started reading Jane Austins pride and prejudice and honestly my brain hurts. Who the hell speaks like that?
I've never taken so long to read a page in my life. You cant skip a single word. It's like reading Shakespeare - ive got to translate the whole thing.

I've read 35% tonight though so a good effort - it was completely free off the amazon kindle store too so happy about that. Don't know why it's free but I'll take it!

My super expensive left hiking boot has a hole in the bottom and I keep getting wet socks. Not happy. It means I'll need new shoes for winter - can't be walking around on snow with holes!
    $$$$$$$$😑

I had a good laugh this evening - I was tempted to give the kid money .... Some gypsy kid was singing and he had about the same skills as mum except he had a microphone and was soooo loud 😂😂😂😂 it was awful.
    And yet bloody fantastic.

Went to the post office this morning and it was issue after issue 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
We first had to open our package - fine, fair enough.
Then we weren't allowed to send the rakia because they can't send liquids...
Then we needed to have a Bosnian address????
    Bloody hell.
This is all happening with a lady who didn't speak a lick of English and had to keep getting s translator.

We eventually just wrote our Australian address twice and will hope for the best.

    IT COST 75€ 😭😭😭😱😱😱😱😱😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Fuck me. This box is ruining my life lol

But it's gone and on its way now. We are just gonna drink the rakia.

Our morning adventure made us nearly late for check out. Ran home and pack before the father reappeared and took the keys.
We went and bought our bus tickets, got brekkie then caught the bus.
Bus didn't have many people so we got it spread out.

    We napped.

When we arrived Will was busting for a wee but first had to walk 3km to get to one. I was practically running to keep up with his monster steps.

    Made it 🎉🎉
It's a new hostel so it's not a great set up but the beds are new and scrumptious.

We went out and got Bosnian food called Cevapi.
It was real good and CHEAP 😀
It's like sausage things that gets served with onions that get put inside bread.

Pomegranate stands are everywhere - I bought some with our loose change that keeps dropping everywhere. Boys wallets are so stupid not having a zip.

There is only one other person in our dorm so far and it's 11.15pm so I doubt it's gonna fill up.

I started reading Sherlock Holmes but there were so many big words in going to have to take my time lol

    November 5, 2017 in Bosnia and Herzegovina ⋅ ⛅ 12 °C

    Good start to the morning..
washing wasn't dry so I had to use the hair dryer and dry them for 20 minutes before I then bumped my head on a window 😂 we used the juice as an ice pack because a small egg started 👍🏼

Tarik is our Bnb host but he has a cold so his girlfriend took us on tour today - her name is Arna.

    Our first stop was Blagaj.

I don't think this stop was necessary but still enjoyed it.
It was an old house thingo where - from what I understand the Muslim version of traveling monks come.
We went inside this building- I had to put a head scarf on and Will had to put on a skirt cause he was in shorts + take our shoes off.
Veryyy basic. All floors were covered in rugs.
There is also 2 tombs. 1 of them possibly contains the bodt of the dude who is seen as the person who brought Islam to Europe I think.
He made a plan before he died - there are 7 different coffins with "his body in it" and they got sent out to the places that wanted him. No one knows who got the real body.

The water here was really clear and people come just to film their water bottles up from this sacred water source.

They haven't ever explored the caves - they tried in 2004 but one man died so they stopped.

It's more of a nice place to have lunch more than anythjnh.
The traveling museums people - the ones who wear white, the hats and spin.. they still come.
The place was abandoned during the Yugoslav communist era but is coming back to life.

Next we went to Medugorje. It's a pilrgirm sight where 6 children claim that The Virgin Mary appeared to them in 1981. Since then over 30 million people have come to the spot and many have reported supernatural things.
Our host was Muslim so she didn't come and went to have a coffee - the walk up the hill was intense - she gave us an hour which I thought was extreme but turns out that was an appropriate allowance lol. The rocks were so jaggered you had to really concentrate where you were stepping! For sure people have rolled and broken their ankles here.

It turns out we went the wrong/long way around but we finally found the Mary statue. She was surrounded by a fence - many people had left flowers. It was so quite everyone was in prayer. We sat in some flattened rocks and stayed a while. I prayed.
One lady couldn't walk and got carried up the hill on a stretcher. That was cool to see. It made it seem like such a sought out place and privilege to be there wether we believe or not.
I'm not sure on my thoughts about it.
It's not a no from me but I'm not sure either.

We walked back down the hill of potential death and got baxk in the car and headed to Kravica waterfalls.

THE SUN WAS SMACK BANG IN THE MIDDLE OF MY EYE SIGHT AGAIN.

The water falls were lovely. It would be wonderful to go swimming there in summer.
We didn't stay too long because of the sun position and there was nothing really to do once we had been there 15 minutes.

Next up was Pocitelj which Will really enjoyed. It's an old fortress village - first written record from 1444. We liked it because once you had bothered climbing the stairs you could walk around for free and actually interact with the building. The view from the top was fabulous too! We were really close to the Croatian border.
I like Ottoman style buildings. It's cosy and warm looking lol.
No specific special person lived here but still an awesome building.

Pomegranate juice is big here and our host Arna was surprised to bear Will doesn't like it lol.

She drove us back. The tour was 27€ each which is expensive but once you consider how much driving she did and we saw 4 things it was definitely worth it.

My kitty was waiting so she got some food 🙊🙊

    We booked Montenegro 👌🏻

Off to the capital tomorrow! Yay more hostels ... 😅😅

    PHOTOS FROM TOMORROW AGAIN.

So we tried to send off that damn box BUT THE POST OFFICE WAS SHUT AGAIN
We have now failed in 3 separate cities. They need to get their shit together.
I carried the box the whole way because for some reason Will found it harder than I did 😂😂💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

We went out and bought drinks and lunch - I cooked my mi go reng and we are relaxing.
I did burn my foot when cooking though because the kettle leaks :( it hurt.
I also pulled the front door into my head earlier too. Sigh.

I finished my book. Lovedddd it. But I'm sad I have to wait so long until the next one and the next one is the last one 😭

We went to dinner. Finally found food I consider cheap! It was delicious too!
I took some of my left over kebab meat and fed it to all the puddings along the way home lol.

    I love this place 😍

I was really sick through the night. We bought strawberry juice earlier on which is what I'm assuming upset my tummy cause my vomit was pink. Will calmed me down and hushed me to sleep ☺️

There is a heater (the shitty leave on all day type) but old habits die hard. I'm enjoying sitting next to it haha

We did washing earlier on do and had to translate the buttons
    First one translated to slingshot.......
second one translated to on.. we went with that one.

We hope they dry before morning because we don't have a rack so I have spread them around over door and draws and it looks like a bomb site - we have a tour tomorrow with our host. Don't want them Seeing it in such a state lol.

    November 3, 2017 in Bosnia and Herzegovina ⋅ ⛅ 11 °C

We had a good, much needed sleep in until midday. 🤗
I showered and tried to wash my hair but the hot water didn't last long enough. very cold. 😩
We planned on a lazy day but first we wanted to have a quick look around.
We walked to the bridge and I already love this place. 😍
It wasn't as wide as I thought it would be.
We were both planning on jumping off it - you have to do a training course first but unfortunately we don't think the weather is good. The water will be freeeeeezzzing! And the level looked really low today.
    It's a 20 - 24m drop depending on the water level.
Hamish and Andy did it on their gap year - it's a local tradition that at age 16 all boys must jump off is they want any success in their life. Apparently only 5 females have ever done it... I don't know why.. it didn't look that scary 🤔
Another time. I already know i want to come back here - It's beautiful!!!! Every thing is stone and everything is cobbled. Trees hanging over everywhere AH I LOVE IT. lots of wood but things selling stuff. It reminded us of the bazaar in Skopje.
    Love love love love.
We walked around and too photos on a platform thing underneath the bridge for a different angle.
We then walked home because we planned to do our proper exploring tomorrow.

On the way home the cat the man stamped at yesterday popped out and followed us home. I ran inside and and back out to feed him :)

I then went inside but soon heard this really loud meowing.
"Great. Look why you've done" said a cranky pants William. I opened the door and it was a different cat then then bolted up the stairs and tried to come in.
I went and got her food too.
    I went back inside.
    She cried again
So I went out and we cuddled for another an hour.
She was shaking so much - her purr was ridiculous, she was so happy and content.
She curled up in my jacket as I protected her from the sprinkling.
    ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I went and got her more food because she had demolished the previous pile and I went inside.
    We had a nap heh.

Woke up and headed out to dinner.
It ended up being the most ridiculous situation.
We ate surrounded by 9 cats. At one point their was 11.
They just sat next to us staring. We fed them all by throwing our food off the balcony. Some wanted pats and others didn't. One had real balls and kept climbing the table. I plonked It on my seat next to me hahah cheeky!
They hissed and scratched each other when fighting for the food so we tried to spread it out but there was one cat smarted than the rest and he kept getting all of it. Lol
I can't believe how many cats there were! The food was crap so we didn't mind sharing - we both had Bosnian schnitzels which was the chicken stuffed with ham cheese and sour cream which sounds delicious but really wasn't lol

We went home and I read another 40% of my lusam book and got so into it I went to bed at 3am 🙊
