    January 9 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

After months of drama with the Jolly Roger H3, we have finally put a fork in it and walked away. Hopefully this new hash club will catch on and bring back the fun.

I arrived back in Tampa from Bangkok, at about 7 am, and after some brief discussions, offered to set this trail today. Worked out very well, and fun was had by all. I even sold a few books at a mini book signing.Read more

  • Bangkok Harriettes #2245

    January 7 in Thailand ⋅ ☀️ 29 °C

Last trail in Thailand for a while, off to the airport. Time for some Caribbean breezes blowing through my hair. 🙂 We had two fast rabbits setting trail today, in a well known area . . . so not too many surprises. Was still a fun run with great weather. The Harriettes were the first hash club I ran with in Thailand, back in 1998, and I have finally reached 50 runs with them. Good things take time I guess. See y'all in a few weeks.Read more

  • Bangkok Monday H3 #2193

    January 5 in Thailand ⋅ 🌙 29 °C

We started at the Hidden Lighthouse for this journey by the lake. Same start and same hare from a trail earlier this year. The first time around it did not turn out so well, both in setting the trail and the weather. This time was much better, good warm evening, and trail marked much better . . . so some hashers can learn from past mistakes. 🙂Read more

Starting off the new year with another good run here in Bangkok. Only a couple more trails here before heading off to the airport again . . . seems there are a few islands in the Caribbean that need some hashing done. On OnRead more

    January 2 in Thailand ⋅ 🌙 30 °C

First trail of the new year, and my first time haring for this club. It was a fun night trail for about 25 hashers. Some of the pack were able to look ahead and skip some loops and finish in about 7.5 kms, while the FRBs clocked in up to 12 kms. 🙂 Plenty of twists and turns, and lots of checks to keep them guessing.

Looking back on 2025, I was able to run 188 hash trails in 25 different countries, and hare 33 times in 8 countries, with 87 different hash clubs. That was a pretty good year, but I think I'd like to slow down a bit this year . . . let's see if that happens.
