Next stop was a waterfall hike, it started out at the car park which was the end of a gravel road. As the hike went on the weather got steadily worse, and worse to the point were we literallyLeia mais

Final stop of the day is a geothermal pool which is filled with naturally hot mineral water, which was full of algae and various minerals, and was said to have a soothing and healing effect on theLeia mais
Mt. Kirkjufell (463 m) is the mountain you can see in the photographs, it is the most prominent mountain in Grundarfjörður and the guide book said it is the most beautiful mountain on theLeia mais
