Road to PunakaikiJanuary 16 in New Zealand ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C
Around 15.00 o'clock we were back at my car and started to drive back to civilization.
I wasn't really sure where I should spend the night.
So I was hoping, that I can drop her off in Westport and then she can decide what she wants to do and I can go my own way again.
Easier said than done.. Was a little hard to finally get her to decide to stay in Westport and I was actually happy, that she did. 🙈
Not always easy to travel with other people.. 😂
I went then to the Seal Colony at Tauranga Bay.
There was a lot of seals, I could smell them already a few 100m away from them.😅🙈
They also had a few pups but they were hiding quite good behind or between some rocks so it was impossible to see them on a picture.
With the high tide coming closer I decided, that I can actually drive all the way to Punakaiki today because I would be there in perfect timing to see the famous blowholes by the pancake rocks. 😊
Because the higher the water is and the mir its blowing the better they are! 😉Read more
