What a great picture, someday I hope to visit these places. Will you be heading to Denmark? I have a lot of family who live there.
Sooner than later, Tim! Learned that watching Rod go before he could do what he wanted to. Nope, no Denmark in the plans. The Scandinavian countries are just too expensive. Norway was it.
I’m so glad you had a clear day to see Matterhorn! I talked to some people that said they had traveled to Zermatt several times before they got a nice clear day.
Then I feel VERY lucky because it’s just RIGHT there!! Crossing fingers tomorrow is good too
So Zermatt is amazing. It's the last town before the Matterhorn, and our room has a balcony with a view (well, other than that darn crane, lol - thank goodness for Magic Eraser).

That looks like a lot of food! 3 course meal Is that Pachetto or another cured meet on the 1st round? Looks like you should have bread or crackers for the cheese dish. Was the desert worm or cold?
The cheese was melted and gooey. Which makes it easy the eat. Like a fondue, pick up some cheese add a bite of potato the meat was dry dried. More dry than panchetta. The desert was apricot sorbet covered in apricot liquor. It wasn’t super sweet which was great. The steak was a little undercooked and it was small so the meal was very manageable. Turned out to be my only meal of the day. Dinner was a snack of cheese and crackers from Migros take-away.
