Got back to the Jury's Inn hotel, which was actually in Gateshead, and walked over to the Millennium Bridge to view all of the beautiful lights.
Spent time in a nice shopping area. It was Boxing Day, which is a holiday on December 26 that originated in the UK. We also had a good meal at a local pub.
