Traipsed around Housesteads Roman Fort and walked a bit of Hadrian's Wall. Delicious cornish pasty and sausage roll for late lunch, and amazing weather the whole time.
An ancient Roman fort situated in the middle of Hadrian's wall.
The fort is of course ruins now, but the fog and snow certainly created unique scenes.
We arrived at Housesteads fort and spent some time getting the fort and the impressive art installation built to celebrate the 1,900 year anniversary of the fort.

Got up to a Misty start but sun soon came out while we visited Housesteads Roman Fort and Hadrian’s Wall. For lunch and early afternoon we visited Chester’s Roman Fort
We parked at Steel Rigg to walk the three or so miles to Housesteads fort song Hadrian's wall, via Sycamore Gap. The views were lovely!
