    A Bump in the Road

    August 1, 2019 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 32 °C

A sensor failure in the DEF emissions control system put us out of commission. After spending the day on the side of I-95 in NC , we had to be towed 50 miles north to be near a repair facility. Fortunately we had just pulled into a rest area when the engine shut down signal occurred . The bad news is that Spartan tells us that the part is back ordered for two weeks. We are staying at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in the meantime.Read more

Day 55 - Driven To Exercise

    November 1, 2016 in the United States ⋅ 🌙 19 °C

Lots of driving today as we continued our journey south.

The main observations today are that the number of churches are increasing as the average speed of drivers is decreasing. And we hit the 7 000 mile mark!

We went for dinner as soon as we arrived at our hotel and my pile of baby back ribs were enormous. Alice had the very healthy looking salmon with mash. Luckily for me, there was a gym at the hotel. Once the food had settled, Alice and I strapped on our trainers, jogged and lifted various weights whilst flicking through hundreds of TV channels at the same time. Our eyes and index fingers were as tired as the rest of our bodies by the end of our session. Time for an early night.

    De regreso en bus

    June 30, 2017 in the United States ⋅ 🌙 23 °C

    Fayetteville, North Carolina

    April 20, 2018 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 15 °C

We left our hotel and headed into town to visit the American Airborne Museum. Very well laid out going over the wars from ww2 to present day. Late morning we left and rode to Charlston, South Carolina. The weather was beautiful, warm with clear skies. The motorways are pleasant to drive on and no rubbish on the side of the roads either.Read more
