So accommodation in Roppenheim which is a bit off the path but good option for the evening
53kms today (which felt easy)
Beers and yummy dinner!
We left Roppenheim early (well early for me) and went back towards the Rhine.
So we said Goodbye to France as we crossed river back to Germany...then to ride on flood dykes in to Karlsruhe
Arrived before lunch after a short 43km ride...
We reunited with Illy (yey!)
Sheril put her bike in the shop to get fixed
We did a puzzle room (it was great)
Sheril got a new wheel!
This post is dedicated to her having a fully functioning (and 60% new) bike
So we were treated to another awesome light show this time on the Karlsruhe castle (schloss). Twas pretty cool!
So all six (hooray!) had early start and went on our way, passing the castle and on to see our friend the Rhine...
Easy paths to follow again today
Crossed river at leimersheim and head on to Speyer
So we spent bit of time looking around Speyer Technik Museum...
Lots of engines, cars, trains, planes, tractors, boats, spacecraft... Pretty cool (but actually it was very hot today)
