A day in Germany

Today was an early start, Mum, Dad , Claus, Miriam and I all piled into the car to head over the boarder to Germany. Mum wanted to go to Sterzhausen to find out more of their family history, here weBaca lagi

After Kambly, we decided to head into Luzern for some lunch, check out the bridge and have a look around.
Next stop was Kambly, a delicious biscuit shop. Here we watched a video on the history on Kambly and how the biscuits are made. Then we looked around and sampled some biscuits before deciding whichBaca lagi
Waking up in Switzerland after a good nights rest, it was time for some breakfast and to plan out our day.
First stop was Emmental, to do a tour of the Emmentaler cheese factory and sample some ofBaca lagi
Landed in Switzerland 🇨🇭 at 10pm, collected our bags and were met by Edgar to take us to Ittigen.
Once there we made our was across the road to Miriam and Björn’s house. This is where we areBaca lagi
Departure from Manchester was a bit behind schedule, but we made up for it in the air, with a quick 45min flight, due to good winds across the channel. Now to wait for our next flight to Basel,Baca lagi
After dropping our bags and making our way through security it was time for lunch. I had nachos.
After lunch we made our way to our gate to wait to board the flight to Amsterdam.
The time had come to checkout of the Holiday Inn and drive back to Manchester to drop off the car.
We caught the shuttle bus to the airport where we found the check in/bag drop off for our flight.
After saying Goodbye to Sheila and Mike, we headed out to Walsall to see one of Dads brothers Lenny and his wife Caroline.
We went to the Pub for dinner and chatted.

This morning we went to say our final goodbye to Sheila and Mick.
It was nice to be able to see them before we head off tomorrow morning back to Manchester to catch our flight to Switzerland.
