  • Chilling and reflecting in Potosi.

    25. Februar 2023 in Bolivien

  • Arriving, free walking tour & Cholita

    26. Februar 2023 in Bolivien ⋅ ☁️ 14 °C

I arrived at 7:00 in La Paz. After having breakfast at the bus terminal I arrived at the hostel and met Joel and
Laureen from England + one Litauen Guy(archeological) and we went together to a free walking tour in La Paz. (Prison, witch market, main square with parliament, sniper holes) we also went in the evening to a Colchita fight (traditional Bolivian women dress), which was nice to see wrestling as an entertainment for 3-4h😂💪🏽
I was also dancing in the ring as the only person in the ring with one cholita (Maria😍)😂

In the evening we drunk some beer and I also met Dennis from Germany also. Nice evening. I also sleep in a 20 person dorm😂💪🏽

  • Orga+shopping+cable car

    27. Februar 2023 in Bolivien ⋅ ☁️ 11 °C

After having breakfast close to the hostel I bought a Alpaka Pulli and a new heat.

I also booked a 3 day and two night tour to Huayna Potosi, a Mountain which is 6082m high. This will be a fucking challenge!!!

Afterward I met with Laureen and Joel again to shop with them, but I didn’t buy anything (Laureen bag was stolen and she needs an emergency passport 😢) Laureen also wanted to bug a new bag and she didn’t find anything after 3h of searching 😂

Back in the hostel we booked close by a day tour to the the most dangerous road of 2007. we will do that with a bike tomorrow.

In the afternoon we went with a cable car around the city. Over the whole city 7 lines are driving over La Paz!! Amazing infrastructure.

At the second stop we saw a lot of Witch doctors. Kinda like Wahrsager & die Leute glauben stark daran hier.

We had amazing views over La Paz & behind the hill it was another big area, where people love. Nice activity and 4100 high in El Alto.

After drinking one beer with the English couple we met Meghan from England and we went to diner.

After packing my back for the bike trip, I went early to bed.

  • Fucking Death road & going out!!

    28. Februar 2023 in Bolivien ⋅ ☁️ 19 °C

Today I had a really nice day!

Laureen, Joel and myself got picked up at 8:30 to drive the death road and an asphalt way down. We started at 4600m and went down to 2000. most of the time we drove down.
I also met ismael from Ibiza and Paula from brasil there, amazing people!!

After our group of 13 people get introduced, we drove an asphalt road, ~1500m down. The view was soooo amazing and to drive very fast with the mountain bike made so fun.

Then we drove after 20m bus drive the death road.
It was harder to drive there with the gravel streets, but it made so fun. For sure I was in the faster group😉

At some points the road was about 3m bright, so not so huuge..😂

We also drove trough small rivers and waterfalls, where it was sometimes slippery.

Unfortunately 1/2 of the death rode was not passable, because of one landslide.

Then we had food (banana, crackers, fish, fries) and went back to the hostel.

There I ate my first Salchita(sausage with fries) and I went out with Laureen and Joel. I met also at pre drinking yair and a beautiful California girl as well as Flor (Argentina) and I saw two Swiss girls from San Pedro again.

The evening with will be unforgettable 😍

    1. März 2023 in Bolivien ⋅ ☀️ 14 °C

In the morning I bough some stuff for the 3 days climb to the summit of huayna potosi. After that I made laundry, had breakfast and already packed my bagpack for the hike.
I also wanted to buy new shoes but there were no accurate one in the shops.

I also chilled with the american girl (Shaked) and Yair at the hostel. Furthermore I had a phone call with Paddy and I really miss him.

I also decided now to go to Peru, where only the border Chrossing could not be soo easy. We will see. Maybe I also go after the hike to the north to the Amazon jungle in Bolivia.

After meeting Celine from Puerto varas again I went to bead early.

I think the next 3 days will not be any blog entries because of no wifi/ electricity.

It will be fucking hard the next days and I really hope that I can get to the summit of Huayna Potosí!

  • First Day HP:Training

    2. März 2023 in Bolivien ⋅ 🌧 7 °C

After we got out clothes in the morning at Jiwaki Tours, we drove till 11:00 to the first camp at 4700m. The scenery was already amazing with the lakes there.
I met Herman and Isak from Norway during that tour, nice people. Didn’t know that they also have an military service for 1 year after high school.
After lunch we dressed up we walked 1 1/2h to a 10m wall.

It was already cold and with a lot of fog. During the raining reason it is not the best climate to do that climb😂

We got before the wall in touch with some glacier walking styles. Coca leaves and water are a must have during the climb.

After climbing up a ~10m wall, which was very exhausting, it began heavily to snow and we went back to the first camp at 4770m.

We had a huge dinner in the evening and went to bed early.

  • 2. Day HP: Rock Camp hike

    3. März 2023 in Bolivien

To be best prepare for the climb we slept ~10h. Then we had breakfast, played cards and waited for three other people, who are doing „only“ the 2day tour. We hiked ~2h to the rock camp at 5230m. It was already harder to breathe, but I had no altitude sickness. The backpack was fully packed with the stuff for the sunrise climb.

We had a proper food and slept at the rock camp at 18:30. Although the view was cloudy and foggy, before we went to bed the landscape was amazing.

  • 3. day of HP:Summit climb

    4. März 2023 in Bolivien ⋅ ⛅ -4 °C

We woke up at 24:00 and had breakfast at 0:30. I slept good/ok (5h), but the other had more problems.

It was not that cold, so I only werd 3 layers at the trousers and 3 on the top.

Every two people had one guide, and unfortunately I climbed at first with iris, who had already altitude problems at the day before. After 30 min we got added to our shoes „snowspikes“, where putted together with ropes and needed to use our icehaks. I was added to the group of Isak and Hermann fastly were I was happy about. It was very hard, already at the altitude of 5600, because it was very steep.

But after 5900 and the last climb to the summit the breathing was getting terrible. Every 3 steps I needed to stop to breath without going. Also I got crazy headache at this altitude.

BUT we made it! We saw the sunrise and the archievment was super amazing. One of the hardest things in my life so far.

The summit is at 6088, so I climbed a 6000er mountain!!

But we needed to go back. The 3 hours back were also super hard and my feet’s were already „Butter“. It was nice to see all the high and landscapes we went trough in the morning. We had lunch at the rock camp and went with our fully backpack down again.

After driving back I went with iris after eating back to the hostel and chilled there. Also I packed my backpack again, made laundry and booked nights in Copacabana.

I also went with the teleferico after a nap to El alto and saw Lanpaz at night from above. Amazing view.

I am super proud of myself, because only 50% of the climbers are reaching the top!

Although it was Saturday I slept early at 11 pm till 9am. I was super exhausted of the hike. Afterwards I had a call with Jess and my mom & after checking out I went to the bus station to catch a collectivo. I needed to cross the lake titikaka by a person boat, which I not expected 😂.

The last hour of drive was in combination with an amazing green landscape of the lake titicakaka. After checking in I went up to an Inca trail, where I met in the evening Noemi and Alessandra from Swiss again(San Pedro, wild rover La Paz), and we watched the sunset there. Amazing view. After dinner we had some beers at the hostel balkony.
I also met Irene from Italy in my dorm:)

After breakfast with Alessandra, Noemi (her 26th birthday) and Irene we went with the boat for 1 1/2h to Isla del Sol. There we saw an inca building and had lunch with an amazing view. Also we went to the highest viewpoint on this island and it was an unique view and landscape.
(Lake titicaca is the highest lake in the earth at 3800m). Bolivia and Peru share themself the lake titicaca. We also saw indigen people in this places with their traditional clothes (men & women), which was nice to see them at a glance.
We went back at 4pm and arrived at 6pm.

After that I had lunch with the Swiss girls with a nice pizza and went to a bar and had a nice evening💪🏽

  • (Hopefully) Last night in Bolivia

    7. März 2023 in Bolivien ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C

Today was time for chilling. Copacabana and Isla del sol was quiet relaxed, because of less tourists.

I went with noemi and alessandra to the lake to chill before I booked my transfer to Puno (Peru) and I had a phone call with Joni. We chilled and met a dog “called Bruno”, drove with an “Wasserteller” and paddled around the lake titikaka.

In the evening we ate an amazing lasagne.
I am tired/exhausted of the climb and the last days(as well the altitude) here. It is also at night colder and I hope in Peru it will be better.

Although the street blockades are getting better and better, i really hope I can go to Cusco (Rainbow Mountain, Machu Pichu, and it was the Capital of the Incas) without any problems. Also i hope I can travel trough Peru without any problems, what everyone says it should be the case.

As an backup I will have my flight on the 12th of march to Ecuador, when it will be no possibility to travel trough Peru. But I am positiv minded!

Also tara could join me in Mexiko, which it not safe till now and it would be not the exact time where I want to go there.

In summary I really enjoyed Bolivia! It was an unexpected nice country!

  • Puno —> Cusco ✅

    8. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ☁️ 11 °C

Today was an crazy day, but everything worked out.

At first my transport agency left 2h earlier as planned and they were very hectic and had a lot of phone calls in Spanish. I sayed fast goodbye to Noemi and alessandra and I loved their attitude of traveling and their relaxed behaviour.

There were some protests ongoing in Copacabana (I didn’t had this feeling).
I made the “exmigration” in Bolivia and after that my minivan person talked 15 min to a boat person and after that I was able to go inside the boat. Way to early, because the boat was full after 2h🤦🏼‍♂️
I was not able with that stress to change my money and buy some food.

After 5h of bus drive they said that peruan persons in puno trow stones to boats, but I think that was fake. So I took a smaller boat, that I can reach the immigration on point at 19:00. It went out, because of 5 min, but the other people in the boat were earlier at the migration, so I think only tourist scam. I payed to much for this transfer, but I am happy that it went out without no problems at the end.

I met during that “exciting” trip three Chilenes, two from Turkey, two Italians and one Argentinian. We all go now to Cusco, where we were able to book a big bus (Transzela, excpected an collectivo) and pay with card. All money exchange had closed or shops wanted to give me a very bad currency exchange. So the turkey people payed for my food.

Now it depends, if the roads are blocked, I am in Cusco at 5:00 or at 12:00, because we need to drive around.

Now I am “safe” and feel happy, because it could be only the problems as in Cusco to drive more hours with the bus because of some blockades. Other problems will not be around Peru, what I heard so far of travellers here.

  • Arriving in the inca city cusco!

    9. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ☁️ 13 °C

I really did not excepted, that I can travel to peru.. it works!!
After arriving at 7:00 in Cusco (driving 2h more to drive around one street blockade) I bought a SIM card and changed money. The Italians (Simon and his girlfriend) found a atm to withdrawal, because on my side 3 didn’t work.

After check in I bought a tour for tomorrow to the Siete coloures mountain(5100m), where I felt scammed because of street offers and I didn’t find a good solution. But at the end it was good.

Also I got a recommendation at the hostel the BCP Bank (700 sol, as much as u want) to withdraw instead of the (banco de Nacional, 400, one time a day). No fees.

I also went to a free walking tour.
(Notes: Quinoa nr 1 and Kaffee nr 3 export of the world, Cusco 95% tourism
    - Boliviar y San Martin liberator

    - at Market food (Vorspeise, Hauptspeise, Nachspeise, 1€
    - Inca Palasts destroyed by Spanish and they build with the their stones cathedral and church there!!
    - there was no space between the stones of the Incas (street pic)
    - 16 inca kings
    - inca region from south of kolumbia till santiago (Kolumbia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, cusco was in the middle)

After the walking tour I went up to the Jesus statue, where Inca ruins were on the way. I jumped over a fence, to not pay the entrance fee😂

the landscape and view of Cusco was amazing. Again a lot of hills and I already felt in love with the older buildings in the city. Also the view with the mountains…😍 it felt kinda magical, when I was up there.

After going down I went a nice steak restaurant and chilled at the hostel in the evening, because I need to wake up at 3:45 to get picked up at 4:00.

  • Siete colores mountain + red valley

    10. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ 🌧 6 °C

Today I woke up at 3:45(!!) to get picked up at 4 am for the seven Color rainbow mountain. It was explored 5 years ago, because the minerals of the lines were under snow. Now with the climate change, it can be seen..

So we ate breakfast and their I met Philipp from Augsburg. It was an amazing funny guy and I stayed the whole trip with him.
After arriving at 8:15, we became a walking stick especially at the end very helpfull!).

Philipp was quiete slow to be honest, because he was not used to hike in the altitude #huaynapotosihelps, but we arrived at one of the first there at the viewpoint of the mountain. (altitude: 5100m)
With my coca leaves and a black menthol mass it was not that hard for me. ( coca leaves help for actively, no hunger and headache, the mass for the [nose] breathing.)

Unfortunately the weather was not the best: it was cloudy and no sun, so at the end the siete coloures mountain was not so overwhelming, but it was still very nice.

To see the combination of the the siete colored mountain, the red mountain and the green landscape was stunning!

During we went down, we wanted to go another way back: over the red mountain , but we only had 40 mins till 11:20 (when we should be back), and we would be down in 40 min walk very rapido😂 but philipp was slow and we made much pictures😂

When we arrived at the viewpoint we saw behind the mountains and their we have seen such an amazing landscape: the red valley. We hiked down with two Costa Ricans very rapido, but we were late 35 mins. BUT other people were 55 min late, so we stressed us for no reason 😂

Omg, Philipp was super cool and his way of thinking and his lifestyle (work remotely, freedom thinking, as well In the IT) inspired me much! Also on the video you hear him explaining to someone, that we are KISSED BY THE UNIVERSE(😂, honey), because the sun was out, when we made pictures, which was not true😂😂.

When I came back I made some organisational stuff, after I met dominik from the free walking tour randomly again.
So next steps and Machu Pichu stuff was organised.

Because I slept noch so much and I felt not that good, I went to bay early. Also my hostel is super empty and no one to socialize her🥲

  • Chilled day: Museum + chocolate worsksho

    11. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ☁️ 16 °C

After sleeping out I had breakfast at the hostel with a nice conversation with a hostel stuff. I made laundry and wanted to go to one museum ( inca Raritäten) which is not open. I will do it on Monday.

Then I went after one cappuccino to a the museum Coricancha Qurikancha, which was the sun temple ( the biggest temple in Cusco, Cusco= Capital of the Incas) of the Incas.

OMG I learned so much today about the Incas in this museum!:

    - the Museum was the Tempel of the sun, before it was damaged by the Spains
    - size: the Incas were at the biggest till 1532 from kolumbia till Santiago
-Stones: they had so different stones for different usage and their temples had so much steps and in the temples the sun with a face inside was their main symbol teine
    - Inca calendar
    - Inca Astronomie (explains the Nisca lines?)
    - in the museum were Spanish and Inca stuff, but the Spanish stuff did not interested me so much.
    - they had a Temple of the sun, rainbow, moon, lightning, Venus, stars and the highest priest.
    - they sacrificed kids
-They had in our winter fasting months
    - they involved patcha mama!

—> the Spanish damaged so much and it is crazy, that they used all material for their cathedrales and churches again. Ruining a culture, idiots.

Resume: OMG I felt in love with that museum and their culture, that’s the reason I I stayed 3h there. The bell tower there was my last steps.

P.S. : I payed the entrance for a student haha, but unfortunately not for Machu Pichu😂 physical card blah blah

So I was lucky, that I had not to wait for the chocolate workshop in the chocolate museum, because I informed about that yesterday.

It was super interesting to make my own chocolate, got in touch with the process of making and to try different chocolates. (Over 65% it is to bitter for me) facts:

-There are three kinds of chocolate: dark, milk and white, which is in the industry not natural made.
    - Peru has of the best Kakaos, because of their diversity ( also Brazil and south west Africa) otherwise chocolate is best at Belgium and Swiss
    - white chocolate will be done after pressing the cold chocolate

My selfmade chocolate tasted amazing and I did the course with an introverted and strange American called Cliff.

I bought some stuff for the 2 days one night trip to Machu Pichu. I decided myself against the Inca trail or the salkantatrek(should be amazing), because it would be to long and to expensive. Also agains the train, because two ways are 120€. My buses are 20

So the evening was against chilled and I am looking forward to Machu Pichu.

Bus to hydroelectrica—> 3h hike to agua calientes and sleep there. —> 2h hike to Machu Pichu —> 2-3h there —> 3h down to hydroelectrica and pick up at 14:15. back in the hostel at ~9pm. Sleep one night there, Inca museum and then off too nisca lines!

  • M A C H U P I C C H U !!

    13. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ☁️ 14 °C

Today I have seen my first world wonder!

I woke up at 5:30 and Adrian was still in the hostel, which was not planned. It rained till 5:30, so he stayed longer there. Also some bad weather scam from Aida about clouds was already in the WhatsApp group. The morning news could be better😂

So after breakfast I catched up with Aida and Quentin and we went a 1 1/2h steep way up Machu Pitchu. (A bus one way would be 12€, so we decided to hike both ways).

After arriving at 7:15 I clarified to get a guide and joined Walleys group at 8:00.

What should I say? The guide information were super interesting and Machu Pitchu was amazing. Because the Spain did not found that place, it is mostly in that condition the Inca left it.

We had a tour of 2 1/2h and I super enjoyed it. After that I went down with Quentin (+Aida and a Swedish girl) to hydro electrica, where we we had lunch. Unfortunately we were a little late, so we not catched the bus, but another one was driving.

But they repair the streets from 3-6, so we got 2h stuck on the road and I went home at 24:00. after a hot shower, I went to bed.

I really enjoyed every minute up there and to see see the Inca 180 Inca buildings there was super amazing.

    Some information about Machu Pitchu:

    - Spiritual, university for Incas, special place for richer Incas
    - Houses called colca and at their time they had a roof build of wood, bamboo and llama haul, which needed to be rebuild every 4-5 years
    - there was an entrance from the Inca trail
    - it’s 132 Kilometer away from Cusco
    - it was builded around 1445 till 1542 and was not finished (big stones show that, that they wanted to build more of it), because then the Spain came.
-The 9th (of 16) Inca King began it and around 500 people lived there
    - they had a farm and a Urban place there
    - Why there?: water+ stones + clima for farming
    - 1911 found again, but with a lot of vegetation & US guy came back 1912
-US gave back less stuff after investigation and no gold
    - Small, young, big mountain are there. You could go to the small mountain for a better overview, but more expensive and need to book 3-4 month in advance.
    - Building: 21.12 sunrise zu Inca Trail , 21.06 sunrise east, to know which season is coming
    - die Incas haben die Steine hier mit mit Wasser, Salz und anderen Steinen geschliffen
    - In the urban place the Terraces: deco and water goes down

  • Adios muy hermoso cusco 🔜 Nasca

    14. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ 🌧 15 °C

After some complications with the return minivan I had in the morning a problem: I forgot my AirPods in the minivan when I went out of the bus after sleeping at 0:30.🤦🏼‍♂️
But I were able to locate them in my App! Last location 35 min ago. I hoped also, that this bus is not driving tourists to the Machu Picchu today. I asked the people around, if they know this minivan, but no.

At the end a guy said we need to call the police & he did. At the end the police called around, a person came, opened the car and my AirPods were inside! Super nice 😂 also the police drove me to plaza de armes, super cool! The police also asked for my Facebook😂 I am proud of myself to clarified the situation with my Spanish skills and alone!

I went after that to the Inca museum, where I learned more about the pre-Inca and the Inca time and I saw a lot of stuff.

I said goodbye to the Swedish girl Sofia and Brandon from Peru at the hostel, when it heavily rained. Now I am 16h on the way to Nasca. The plan is to go to Nasca, huacachina, Paracas and Lima.

  • Chilled day in Nasca

    15. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ⛅ 26 °C

I arrived in the morning at Nasca after sleeping ok but much in the 16h bus. Nasca is a small town, where is not much to do, except going to the Nasca lines. The Nasca-Cultur in this region from 500 b.c till 500 a.c made them, and it is still unknown, what the meaning behind them are and why the Nasca-people did that and for which use. A lot of theories are behind them.

I decided to do an helicopter flight above them, because the lines are super interesting, I want to see all of them from above and I never drove with a helicopter.
(@Mom and dad: you still have the present from the helicopter flight!!🤪)

After checking in and buying the flight, I called my mom and my brother Paddy.

After that I went to lunch and slept again in the hostel. I was really exhausted of the last days of travelling and super tired. (Already travel tired?🤪😂)

I also informed myself about the next things to do in Peru/Ecuador/Colombia & planned a possible route, because the (time) planning was not fully done till now💁🏽‍♂️

    Two very important things:
    1. I will fly after Lima to Iquitos, where I want to do an Amazon rainforest trip!! I am super excited!
    2. Less time: with my travel planes trough the next countries, it could be longer than excepted to travel. That means I could travel till the 01.07.2023. hopefully I will have enough money for that haha.
I also want to see Nee York for one week. We will see.

After a very chilled day I am super happy to did a lot Orga stuff and go to the Amazon rainforest. Tomorrow I will also go after the flight to huacachina, a place where a natural oasis is next to this town.

  • Nasca-Lines flight+ beautiful huacachina

    16. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ☀️ 27 °C

What an amazing, exciting, beautiful and really fucking nice day!!

Today I woke up to take my plane flight over the Nasca lines! There I met Yuki from Japan, living in NY. It was my first plane flight with this size and I really enjoyed it! Only the first 2-3 curves my stomach noticed something 😂

I was so impressed, in which big area the Nasca lines are and how detailed they looked from above. Also flying for the first time, I super enjoyed it! Every figure had also a specific meaning to the nascas and the biggest one is 300m big. Spider, condor, astronaut,… super good!

They also drove us above water springs from the Nasca time and over an Inca temple.

After a 40 min flight I got back to the hostel and went to lunch. Then I wanted to take a collectivo, but I heard that at the time that the roads to Ica are on 3 streets overflowed. Shit. But I got one collectivo for 12€🤦🏼‍♂️ which drove me. At the end I arrived after 5h of drive & one challenging drive over very muddy streets. Then I took a taxi to huacachina and checked in.

Huacachina is a small touristic place, where you can chill, Party or to Biggy tours and sanboarding.

The desert with the sand hills looking amazing. Wow! During the way up to watch the sunset I met Dor from Israel. We watched together the sunset and went together for pizza dinner.

Because we were tired we went earlier to bed.

So with the Nasca lines, the exciting drive (also to think not to end in huacachina) and the very stunning view

  • Resting before adrenaline

    17. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ⛅ 26 °C

Today I slept out and chilled at the pool, before I booked a buggy tour with bodyboarding. I heard as an beginner it is more adrenaline kick with bodyboard(compared to sandboarding, and it was!)

I booked also three nights in paracas at the beach and this will be my first beach during my journey!

so I got picked up in the afternoon (unfortunately without Dor), and then we drove with their buggies trough the desert. My driver drove super crazy and it was super fun. I compared it to rollercoasters driving a little bit with that feeling.

We bodyboarded three hills and the video is only the second one!
Because some needed to go back earlier, I watched on the biggest hill In huacachina the sunset for myself. It was supper chilled and an super amazing view😍.

After dinner I went back to the hostel and although I stayed in wild river I am still not that much excited to make big party today.

Because I had an idea: sleeping in the desert!
I walked up in the night to the desert and I have been able to sleep for 1 1/2h. But at 2:00 it got to cold because of the wind and I expected with 21degree I can sleep with one layer. I went home to the hostel and slept then in my warm bed. Next time🥹

  • Ariving+ buggy tour trough paracas

    18. März 2023 in Peru

After saying goodbye in the morning to dior and having breakfast I drove with a collectivo to paracas over ica. I waited quiete long, which annoyed me a little bith.

I arrived in paracas at 14:30 and although it is very touristic, I enjoy to stay in a beach town.
I booked the Isla balletares tour and a buggy tour trough the Península de Paracas national park.
I made the buggy today spontaneously today and I met there Vivi (Swiss-Peruan) and Arne&Ole(holland, 18/19).

It was super nice to drive there trough. Although it was sometimes slow, Vivian and I also went over hills and it was funny and combined with adrenaline. We stopped at 3 places, before we went home after 3h with an amazing view with the sunset. We were also disgusted about the much Dead Sea lions and birds, but the Holland guys told us about a disease this year here.

The view with the water and the sand dunes was amazing and combined with the nice buggy it was absolutely worth it!

After that we had dinner and I ate a Milanese (schnitzel) with fish (because seaside) and it was super good!

Then we made party in the hostel and we had super fun with peruan people. I enjoyed dancing and drinking after a longer time.

I also rescheduled my Isla balletared tour, that I can make it with Vivian, so I will chill tomorrow.

  • Chilling+ Islas Ballestas+kayak+fish

    20. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ⛅ 25 °C

After Vivian am I went partying we chilled the whole day at the pool. Sleeping+chilling+good seafood. The beach is not the best, because it smells a little bit bad😂 not much to say more about the chilled day.

I really needed some rest of travelling, that’s why I stay here for 4 nights now.
We ate good seafood, because it is very good and recommended here. I still don’t like raw fish😂. I ate a Milanese with fish, wow. Also a cordon blue with fish..😎🥹 and the best lomo Saltado so far.

At the next day we went in the morning to the famous Islas Ballestas, which is known as the small Galapagos.

We saw a Kaktus symbol (San Pedro - known for the Ayahuasca drug, the craziest drug on earth, but a very good medicine for a lot of people) on the way and this symbol is of the paracas culture (before Nasca and >500 b.c).

We also saw a lot of sea lions (with baby’s😍), 7 Pinguins and thousands of birds. Also pelicans and delphins!! Super nice.

When we went back we were sitting in the back and we all got wet, which was no bigger problem for me. I loved it to drive with the boat and enjoyed the view

Then I booked a 3 days/2nights tour for Iquitos in the Amazonas! (Vivian’s Cousine managed that😂)

Then I went kayaking, because Vivi doesn’t like kayaking. It was super chilled and I saw again sea lions and dolphins. Rest of the day: chilling at the hostel and quiz night and good conversations afterwards with Vivian with a few beer (Ayahuasca, Job, because she also works in the IT)

    21. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

Next day: sleeping out, organize some stuff for Lima, chilling at the pool and making laundry😂 wow what was this for a relaxed time in paracas 😂

So paracas with the nice weather was and is in summary a nice and chilled place to chill and I enjoyed it really hard, especially to meet Vivian.Weiterlesen

  • Arriving in Lima (Barranco)

    22. März 2023 in Peru ⋅ ☁️ 23 °C

After breakfast and packing my stuff I went 4h to Lima. I went with lennard from the bus (Mexican) to the hostel and I checked in. Then I had food, because I was super hungry and it was already 5 pm. So I just walked around in the evening, when to a food market(😍) & had a shower.

Then I catched up with lennar again and we had nice conversations with a few beers.

I didn’t know, that Mexicans hate the US. Why?
    - they steal Texas, Utah and Florida (the half of Mexiko now!) from Mexiko in 1846, because they wanted the oil there
    - Us is giving money and the newest weapons the border Kartells, that they still can ship the drugs to the US, because they US love their drugs.
    - kuba with che Guevara (Russia, economic brake down)

In Lima it does not rain. It is after Kairo the second driest capital city of the world. Crazy, isnt it?
