    Western Australia

    July 12 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 12 °C

It's been 500 km of straight road, an occasional tree, and a couple of beautiful lookouts since we left the town yesterday, we're alf way through this nothingness, and we're finally just past the border to Western Australia. Diposing our vegetabels, setting the clock backwards, new signs of animals we may meet on the road, all that stuff of crossing a border.
The day began with a brilliant place for whale watching, having quite a few whales and a calve chilling in the ocean. And then continued just as yesterday. Driving. Although this part was closer to the coastline of Great Australian Bight and it's beautiful cliff, worthy of a few stops on the way.

    Nullabor Straight

    June 20 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 16 °C

    Hey everyone!

I somehow deleted my first post so I'm going to try again!

We got up early this morning hoping to leave at 6am, but obviously didn't make it or I wouldn't mention it! We didn't end up leaving until after 730am, and didn't leave the BP to the south of town until about 8am!

We did however, make it further than expected, and are staying in a dog-friendly room in the Eucla Motel. The rooms are pretty good and the food was amazing. Highly recommend if you happen to find yourself in the area... ;)

Today we stopped at Norseman, Belladonia and Madura. Very brief stops today. The last stop was a touch harder to get Walker in the car but he did and then continued to sleep beautifully!

The one other thing to mention about Eucla.....the "timezone". Apparently we have a new timezone in the world. Western Central Time. Yeh, pretty sure that's not a thing. But now we are halfway between Perth and!

And now for an early bed and an early rise.

    Grenze zu WA, Australien

    April 5 in Australia ⋅ 🌬 21 °C
