Arrived in Adelaide. No delays in the flight. Bags ready where we got to the carousel. Checked in at the Stamford Plaza on North Terrace and walked over to Rundle Mall, then down to the River TorrensOkumaya devam et
Saw the Uniting Church up on the hill, formerly a Congregational Church
After the pickups this morning we are heading north at last. The bus is full. They seem to be a friendly lot. The driver is Chris and the guide is Anne. Lunch is sandwiches from the local cafe - 4Okumaya devam et
Still about 50 mins to Prt Augusta. Been through Loch Eel (where Nessie's cousin is in residence) and the infamous Snowtown. Also can see the Snowtown Wind Farm - about 200 turbines.
Arrived in Port Augusta at the Standpipe Motel at 4:15pm. Had some time to kill so went for a walk to the Water Tank lookout. Lovely 360 views. Dinner is a buffet tonight served at 7:15.
Up today for breakfast at 7am and off to the Arid Lands Gardens at 7:45. Huge area with diverse regional flora.
Stopped at the Wadlata Outback Centre in Port Augusta. Excellent award winning setup. Then some morning tea before setting off to Paranchilna.
We headed up past the western side of the Flinders Ranges through Quorn where there is a heritage railway operating. The ranges are spectacular.
We stopped for the"feral" lunch at the Prairie Hotel in Parachilna. We had emu meat, kangaroo meat, goat cheese, emu liver pate as an antipasto plate.
