    The Big Bus Tour

    August 19, 2019 in France ⋅ ⛅ 21 °C

We head toward Notre Dame where lies the pick up point for our Big Bus city tour.
Up on top with sunshine beaming down and wind in our hair, we head through the Paris streets following the Seine. The trees wacking the bus top wasn't something I expected!

We passed museums I'd visited and stunning parks. Heading up the Champs-Elysees toward the Arc de Triomphe where we were planning to get off but someone mentioned having a picnic at the Eiffel tower and the Arc was bypassed. Armed with a baghette jambon sandwich and a coke, we squatted barefoot on the grass at the Trocodaro view point of the tower.

Kids laughing and blowing bubbles, fountains spraying cool water in the air and people sprawled across the lawns. This is the life hey Pete?? (We face timed Pete knowing she is a night owl).

Whilst leaving, I asked Athena to take a photo of me holding the eiffel tower 🗼 between my hands. So after much directing from her you can check out the amazing results via photos below! 😂

    Eiffelturm

    February 28, 2020 in France ⋅ ☁️ 10 °C

Er macht schon echt was her, der Eiffelturm. Erst recht abends.

    September 30, 2019 in France ⋅ ⛅ 18 °C

    February 20, 2016 in France ⋅ ☁️ 12 °C

Sacamos fotos y seguimos caminando.

    September 23, 2017 in France ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

Du vin , du pain et le boursin. In a true French spirit we picked up baquettes, cheese, cold meats and wine and found a perfect spot on the grass. We shared lots of fun laughter in the shades of this iconic monument with the two Londoners. I am grateful that Lareine and Francois could join us for the weekend. It is Roedolf and Francois's first time in Paris and that itself is a treat with the radio raps banter flying around

    Bateaux Parisiens

    November 15, 2016 in France ⋅ 🌫 12 °C

We took a dinner cruise on the Seine River. Very enjoyable. Pictures taken were not that great because of the reflection of the inside of boat on the windows plus it had rained a bit earlier so the glass was covered in raindrops. So, instead I will focus on sharing photos of the dinner! Yum...Read more

    River cruise on the Seine

    August 4, 2016 in France ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Wonderful cruise on the River Seine this evening at 6pm. We had booked a tour with a champagne tasting. Apparently another couple had not turned up so we had a guide and the front section of the boat to ourselves! The guide was lovely and pointed out all of the major landmarks. What a wonderful part of Paris. Champagne was great too. So glad we booked it....Read more
