    Back into the car, with heated seats and fans on full blast to dry out, we headed further East towards the town of Vik. We took a little detour down a little pensinsula which overlooked Reynisfjara. The wind had whipped up a bit, and got even stronger after we drove up a winding dirt track to the top of the cliff. Despite the weather turning a bit, the black sands and volcanic rock formations were stunning. In front of the peninsula, there is a gigantic black arch of lava standing in the sea, which gave the peninsula its name (meaning: the hill-island with the door-hole).Read more

    Na vecer sme sa presunuli blizsie k mestu Vik, utaborili sme sa pri majaku Dyrholaey. Vyhlady tam boli super, aj v noci a hlavne rano. Druha noc v stane bola lepsia, bolo sice trochu chladnejsie, ale telo si zvyklo na novy sposob spania, tak mi stacili len 2 vrstvy oblecenia a aj som sa kvalitnejsie vyspal.Read more
