We had Sea Days on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We skipped St. John’s Newfoundland because of high seas, so then had 5 Sea Days.

Wednesday and Thursday were full of rough seas.

I was cross stitching early in the morning. Amelia comes up and we chat as we watch the sunrise. It was very very windy out on the deck. Glenn slept in and didn’t show up in his normal routine of bicycling in the morning. He slept in!

We met for morning devotions with mark and Judy Ann and also Jim and Amelia plus new friends Darla and Richard. We talked about how each of our lives have different stories and how we can share our stories. Interesting conversation. Glenn mentioned about the YouTube channel of “The Listening Road” and how everybody has a story and everyone wants to be heard.

I attended the session with Amelia on “How to run a cruise ship”. Very informative. After a quick return to the room, Glenn and I went down to the main dining room where waiter Aktar greeted us and insisted where he could wait on us. Aktar work on NCL Spirit 2020/Rome-Capetown and again 2021/Hawaii-New Zealand
And he remembers us. He served us in “the Local” many many times and remembers we enjoyed Diet Coke, so without us asking, he brought us Diet Coke! Wow.

We enjoyed lunch with new friends, Darla and Richard and listened to their story.

I took a good afternoon nap.

We had a speciality dining at The Bistro with the Hills and Lantz. Great conversation and delicious food. I tried the pork chop and chocolate roll. One word: Delicious!

The sun came out just about the time we were leaving and I was able to take these reflection of stain glass on the columns. Aww!

Upon returning to my stateroom, I saw on BBC of major flooding in Barcelona. So glad the Garcias didn’t adventure out in the weather.

    Great day in Casablanca.

It is built over the Atlantic Ocean. We learned more interesting facts. We took our shoes off and walked on the marble floor. There’s not any icons or symbols at all, just the lines and round symbols.

We walked through the fish market and artesian market where you can buy pottery, rugs and spices.

We stopped at the palace and saw huge doors.

I walked over 10,000 steps. Interesting to learn more about Casablanca

What a relaxing day in the magnificent aquarium!

“O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens. You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you.

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?

Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.

You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority— the flocks and the herds and all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims the ocean currents. O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!”
