This morning we sailed along Storfjorden, the fifth largest fjord in Norway. The dramatic landscape of snow-capped mountains and sparkling waterfalls were so close we felt we could touch them. This fjord branched off to the Geirangerfjord which is known as the most beautiful one in the world. The 2000 foot tall cliffs rise above it’s deep, narrow passageway.
We also viewed abandoned mountain farms and the impressive Seven Sisters Waterfalls (only four were visible today) with an average drop of 820 feet.
