    Really

    August 11, 2017 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 29 °C

Today we have nothing planned today so I guess it's gonna be like being at home but a little better here. We were going to pick up the camper but it's not ready yet. When Jared and I woke up we started to watch tv and that's all we are doing right now (9 am) so I'll see you later today. Wow it was not what I thought we did some stuff not that interesting but still. We went to Walmart and got Aaron some clothes and I got a fidget spinner. The camper wasn't ready so after a bit we went to the camper people and got a hotel for us that's all I remember so I'll see you laterRead more

    Houston Downtown Nachmittags

    June 22, 2019 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 32 °C

    December 15, 2017 in the United States ⋅ 🌙 7 °C

    Today week 1 Tuseday

    August 8, 2017 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C

This morning we woke up at 6 am well for nzt but 1 am for us. We woke again at 8 am and we got breakfast and I was delighted compared to the plane, "wow WAFFLES! Strawberries, bananas, bagels. So much food!" We stay in a hotel called residenceinn and it's cool. Weird we have breakfast at 2 am in nzt but... it is what it is. Dang it's a good day, museum of natural science. "Ahh." I am so excited today "I can't wait. Ahh." The Dinosaur fossils were my favourite and the science was cool. In the science section there was a future job teller and it said my job should be a nuclear engineer, I know right. Next we have a break but let's skip that."Omg the aquarium," we went in and there was so many fish I just want to scream. Seeing fish was cool but as we got into the forest area we started to se spiders and snakes, umm not fish is it, at the end we had dinner there with a white tiger in the room next door, 'what if it breaks out' I'm saying to myself sharks in the tank next to us umm. Also at the aquarium we petted stingrays an they were slimy fun and hard they splashed popped up and one of them thought my mums hand was food??? This was fun telling you about my day so thank you for reading till next time, bye.Read more

    ALLIGATORS

    March 2, 2016 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 64 °F

Took a long bike ride through the park and saw a twelve foot alligator along the path as well as many smaller ones in and out of the water. Also saw turtles and all kinds of birds. Toured the Nature Center where we got to pet a 6 month old baby gator!

    On the Road

    March 1, 2016 in the United States ⋅ ☁️ 73 °F

Heading South from Alvarado. Not a bad detour as we got in some "early" visiting with our family in Texas and got needed service done on the motorhome. We also met some nice folks who were having work done on their coach as well. Jackie and Gean gave us some great tips on trip routes and points of interest as we make our way southeast. An uneventful drive through small Texas towns, interstates hwys and toll roads.
Arrived at Brazos Bend State Park, which has to be the most beautiful state park we've camped in. Took a bike ride and saw our first alligator!

    Farewell Brazos Bend State Park

    March 4, 2016 in the United States ⋅ 🌙 59 °F

After four wonderful days at Brazos we can honestly say this is the nicest state park we've camped in. It is well maintained with huge sites, miles of biking/hiking trails and tons of wildlife (especially considering that the park was flooded last spring). Only thing missing was 50amp electric and full sewer hookup at our site.Read more
