    Antelope Canyon

January 13 in the United States

Today was a very boring trip to Grand Canyon, but we had a tour booked for a place called Antelope Canyon... which was absolutely astronomically amazing!!! Because I can only put six photos in it was about 30 minutes of deciding on which photos to put in.

    Antelope Canyon

March 9, 2017 in the United States

Wirklich komisch was die Natur so macht! :)Read more

    Antelope Canyon & Lake Powell

May 8, 2015 in the United States

    Antelope Canyon, Page (1)

November 4, 2014 in the United States

    04-12 Adventurous Antelope Canyon tour

April 12 in the United States

Took 3 slot canyon tour with Adventurous Antelope Canyon Tours on very windy day (some people canceled due to blowing sand). Tour started away 8:30am, drove to Owl Canyon first (shot known to have nesting owls). Nice slot, that dead ends, lots of evidence of owls but no sighting today. Next up, Rattkesnake Canyon, much narrower and longer. Next was Upper Antelope - very well known. We got there about 10am, and there were only 2 other tours. Really enjoyed the walk, narrow, and deep with lots of textures and colors. Cody or guide helped with camera angels and settings - got some great shots. You walked all the way thru and it canyon, then retrace path back. On way back, canyon was so crowded - we got to enjoy without lots of people when we went in. There were maybe 20 tours in canyon when we left, they said sometimes you wait in line for 30 min outside waiting to walk thru. Sand was blowing thru slot occasionally, but not too bad for us.
Had lunch at Sonic then headed to Glen Canyon Dam Visitor center. Beautiful dam and really nice center and exhibits about Colorado river and Lake Powell. Then went to Ken's Lower Antelope tour center for 2pm lower canyon tour. Unfortunately it was canceled due to very high winds blowing too much sand. Drive or to Antelope Point marina - give with very nice restaurant and tons of Huge house boats. Picked up ready made salad and pasta at Safeway for dinner and ate away hotel.
