Reached the iron cross to place our stones. Its a tradition for pilgrims to carry a stone from their country to leave by the cross and say a prayer. Jordan picked 2 for mum and 1 for me from the front Czytaj więcej
Despite thunder and lightening last night, we had a lovely walk today through some hills to get to this pretty little hostel. The owner asked if we were sisters, mum is chuffed!
Lovely view from the hostel, not bad for 5€. A steep hill into the town finished us off today. Definitely going to need a siesta
Feel like we're on the home stretch, less than 300km to Santiago! And we finally found a hostel with a pool
Made good progress today! Reached León but we're not impressed: the first time we're given tapas and it's ugly big prawns!! Other than that, lovely city
Caught yet another local festival. The Spanish do love a party! Music in the streets, and a cheeky wee decanted bottle of wine to join the festivities

Woken at 4:30 this morning by a couple of Italians who wanted to beat the mid day sun... We passed them about 10km down the road as they were having a nap! Some lovely skies today, the weather has Czytaj więcej
Almost 30km out of Burgos we finally decide to stop! Walked a bit of the way with Mikol, a young German guy that we've met a couple of times. He's very cynical for one so young
