Walked from world's most boring town #1 to world's most boring town #2 today. Although Martin Sheen found it interesting enough to leave his hand prints. Sandals still in tact, we'll see how tomorrowLäs mer
Today it was my turn to ditch the boots. 23km crossing the La Rioja/Castilla y León border rocking the socks and sandals.
A nice easy 20km today to Santo Domingo de la Calzada. Think we're getting the hang of this! Less than 580km to Santiago!
11 hours later, we finally made it. Thankfully this little pit stop helped us to recuperate. The Camino always provides!
Starting slow with a coffee by the lake
A long walk today. We planned on stopping in Viana but ploughed on the extra 11km to reach Logroño. We are now in the La Rioja region of Spain so we're hoping our cheap wine will taste a littleLäs mer
Albergue Municipial in Los Arcos, decorated with what I'm hoping is not a 'before and after the Camino' painting
Leaving mum here, she's a happy chappy.
Translation:
If you want to arrive to Santiago strong and full of life, take a swig of this great wine and toast to happiness
Started this morning by watching a bull run! Only a few wee cows, but I wouldn't like to be running in front of them
Maggie Gorman How can it be day 13 already? Unbelievabubble!! Xxx
