Paula and I stopped at the CD because it is a point of interest and because Paula is in love with the CDT.
We originally planned to stay at Park Creek Campground, possibly boondocking further in away from the established campground. The snow melt is happening so much later than normal this year. The creeksLue lisää
Had a lot of snow on the Continental Divide, and lots of switchbacks to Paula's delight.
The town of Pagosa Springs is such a cute little town. iOverlander app said there was a free hot spring here. We went off in search of it. The photo of the lady sitting near a nice creek is what theLue lisää
Heres some sites of the drive from Durango to Silverton. We went down a back road in Silverton and had a little picnic lunch with the mountains in the background. Stopped at a little brew pub calledLue lisää
We had no plans on where to camp on our "zero" day. We initially pulled into this city park in Montrose, CO. Free and a bathroom with running water right near a great park with an amazing riverLue lisää
We stopped in the high desert town of Grand Junction for some much needed caffiene.
Gonna hang out for the night. Gonna bring Chico and Baylor down to the beach later. Paula and I are gonna grill some steaks and have a few 3.4 beers. Lol
