Morning run around the river with Benoit
A few hours ahead to get chez Papi et Mamie, but… after over 4h of Road we had to take a little 1.5h detour to go and pick up the wine for the party… that ended up being mostly all our things!!
Next stop in our trip was Le Mont Saint Michel. The abbey is built on a rock that’s connected to the main land with a bridge. It’s a UNESCO site and one of the most visited places in France.

We then went to the British Cemetery, where there’s over 1500 British soldiers that died in France in the war, together with other allies soldiers.

Our next stop is Bayeux, little town next to the D-Day beaches.

I’m the afternoon we went to the Memorial of Caen, one of the complete/ best museums about WWII, including all the detailed info about the D-Day.
