I’m a big cathedral man - it just amazes me how they built these fantastic structures with only basic tackle such as a pulley and scaffolding - the Health and Safety brigade would have shut the works down [Neil]

Yes went to see the Bayeux tapestry twenty odd years ago - it’s summat yow have to see. I remember we had problems with the car driving through Bayeux making a real noise and drawing attention to ourselves. I think from the picture the flower is tibouchina - we’ve got two varieties in pots - can get them from specialist nurseries- beautiful purple flowers [Neil]

A.Madoline & U.Stanley went to St.Malo and Dinard a few times, they really loved it and your photos agree, how pretty!
