Went to check out the East River and found the UN instead. Not pedestrian friendly. Then on to the Chrysler building which was closed, so we settled for an Irish bar , as you do!

After arriving by train we walked to Mamaroneck Highschool, then Rockridge Rd, the Umbrella Point and back to the station via the mansions and shops of Larchmont! A very swanky area as it turns out!
Rockridge Road is a green leafy dead end street. Lots of azaleas and hostas
After lunch we walked out through the mansions to Umbrella point. Met some nice French locals. Big houses with primarily wooden shingled roofs. Quite warm again, 27 degrees on my watch
Thought we’d better check out at least one department store. Floors of clothing, good looking kitchen stuff, and a Santa department ( seasonal)!
