With Steve, Hamish, Ben and Millie in tow we rugged and layered up to face the cold and brisk winds coming directly off Bass Strait. Up to Low Head we ventured, to watch the Fairy Penguins* come in toLue lisää
Day trip to Launceston. First stop the Harvest Market in the middle of town. Breakfast, coffee and a roam around the stalls selling Tasmanian produce ranging from Honey to mushrooms. Jen found someLue lisää

Today we began our road trip and of course appropriate names were selected for the journey - Thelma (Kath), Louise (Jonnell) and Eliza (Jen). First stop was Campbell Town where purchases were made atLue lisää
Sue joined us today as we explored the Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. The gardens were awash with autumnal colours and leaves were scattered all over the lawns.

Off through the Derwent Valley to Mt Field National Park. Today was 'Bucket List' day for Jen. Jonnell was perplexed why we were going such a long way just to see a plant! Well ... it wasn't just anyLue lisää
