We have left Cactus and are making our way north, to the Daly River for some Barra fishing and to meet Shaun.

Standley Chasm

Playing Marbles

We loved our visit to the marbles last year, so we booked in again this year.

Tennant Creek Cup

What a spot, probably one of the best paid camp sites we have had.
The kids were craving some other kids to play with, so I booked us into Little Roper Bush camp for a few nights.

Mother’s Day!

This year Mother’s Day was on a travelling day but Lauren didn’t miss out. She was treated to a cooked breakfast that was gourmet thanks to some diced Italian herb tomatoes I found in the cupboardLæs mere

I Stole Lauren’s 86cm Barra

“Come out and I’ll get you a Barra” I told Lauren, and she replied “I’ll catch one, and it’ll be bigger than yours”. It was on!

The Buffalo Attack

Brett and I woke up to the van violently shaking, all I could think was that a buffalo had breached the fence and was using the van to have a good scratch!
