Leaving Sydney and Arriving in Auckland

On our way to Auckland to visit Melissa, Luke and Charlie for 3 weeks.

Looking forward to catching up and having lots of cuddles with Charlie.

Our flight was a little delayed but due to the stong winds we arrived ahead of the original arrival time.

Now at Melissa and Luke's ready to play and have fun.

Melissa and Charlie picked us up at the airport.

We are now at Melissa's playing with Charlie.

He has had a play, dinner and a bath. I have just put him to sleep and about to have dinner.Leia mais

At home with Charlie

Most of the day we stayed inside and played with Charlie as again not great weather. He has grown so much since the last visit.

In the afternoon we visited Tara a friend who has just recently moved to Auckland and lives 5 min drive from Melissa. It was a lovely catch up and a wonderful play date for Charlie.

Once home we watched the slideshow of Charlie's first 6 months.Leia mais

Out to lunch

We stayed in this morning and played with Charlie, he is so cute. The weather has not been great so when it cleared we walked to the local shopping centre for lunch.

What a lovely morning Charlie came for a visit in our bed.

We are going out to the Collective Market but first a cafe for breakfast with Renee, Melissa's friend from Stoner who lives in Auckland.

After breakfast we drove a few minutes to the showground and spent a few hours looking at some wonderful items.Leia mais

I was not feeling very well this morning so John went to Wriggle and Rhyme with Melissa and Charlie, it a like a library visit but with lots of baby activities.

Fun Day with Charlie

Today the adventure is swimming with Charlie, he really loves swimming. In the afternoon Melissa's friends from her antenatal group came over for coffee as it is now a Mothers Group.

A fun day with Charlie

The morning started with swimming lessons, Charlie you are very good. Pop and I cannot wait for you to come back to Oz so we can take you swimming in the pool at Camperdown Castle.

While we were at swimming Luke made a cool boat for Charlie which he loves to play in and later in the afternoon Charlie helped with emails.Leia mais

On our way to Bay of Islands

We are now heading to the Bay of Islands for a week. It is a few hours drive from Auckland. Melissa and Charlie are coming with us, John visited the Bay of Islands before we were married on a cruise I am sure it has changed heaps.

Looking forward to hopefully seeing Whales and Dolphins and going to a few cultural places.

The Bay of Islands has 144 subtropical Islands hope to see a few of them when we do our whale watching cruise.Leia mais
