On the way back to the terminal, we passed by this bell tower.
After wading our way through the sea of tour guides, our family of 4 decided to see Messina by foot. Our first stop was the Piazza Duomo where we sat through part of a sunday mass.
We then hiked uphill to a view point at another church. The streets were very dirty and big piles of garbage were everywhere.
