Another day trip from Porto. After an early start we travelled to Braga, which is a pilgrimage site for Portuguese Catholics. The Bom Jesus site is huge and has a hotel, bar and cafeteria on site!Weiterlesen
Fun day trip today. A driver took 8 of us to the Paiva walkways and suspension bridge. Lots of steps on walkways before reaching the 516m bridge which is 175m above the ground. Tim crossed the bridgeWeiterlesen
Moved to a new hotel for the next 3 nights. Complimentary port on arrival! Dealt with laundry and then spent the afternoon walking around the city.

Fabulous 3 1/2 hour walk to a village called Pinilla de Fermoselle. Picked up by Oscar and driven to a private winery and cheese maker.

Walked down to local bakery at about 9.30 to buy picnic supplies - chorizo bread rolls and a tuna empanada. Then began an 11km walk, firstly through the village and then into a national park. StoppedWeiterlesen
