I was looking forward to beautiful gardens judging from the name. Not so. There were green spaces mainly. A few pretty areas as you got closer to the Louvre.
We didn't go in the Louvre as it was nearing the end of the day but walked around outside.

We found this cafe at the base of the Eiffel Tower and were able to watch the sparkling light show on the tower while we had a late dinner.

This was a very beautiful place. This was the garden that inspired many of Monet's paintings.
This was a great restaurant. Doug enjoyed two hot dogs with cheese baked on them. I had Quiche Lorraine and for dessert we shared flaming Crepes Suzette.
