We arrived at our first full week stop ever in the small town of White Sulphur Springs, so named because of the hot spring the town formed around.

We got to soak in the hot spring water and, while comfortable and warm, it did smell like sulfur.

The skies are big, here in Montana and it's a great place to enjoy some cooler weather and get back into our work routine.

We are spending the holiday weekend in Missoula as we continue our journey west.

This was our first travel day with Isabel's new stairs which she has made good use of.

We enjoyed lots of outside time, Isabel was very happy to explore and lounge outside for hours on end (and cried to go out, even on a rainy Sunday morning). We also had our first outdoor cooking adventure. We don't have a grill, but we are able to bring our induction cooktop outside pretty easily!

Our neighbors put out their "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere" flag at half mast in honor of the passing of the great Jimmy Buffet. Czytaj więcej

Podróżnik How fun and happy Isabel has a nice view. Emily was telling us of a site her friends with a motorhome belong to its called Harvest Host, apparently it tells you places at wineries and breweries that accommodate large motorhomes.

Podróżnik Ahh yes, Harvest Hosts is on our radar! Once we have our batteries fixed up so we can stay places without hookups we'll be joining. I already checked and a bunch of places in NOVA are available through HH!

We're spending 2 weeks here just outside of Spokane, WA right next to a casino; there's a pretty significant overlap between RV living and casinos, it seems.

There's a nearby farmers market with some pretty veggies which we prepared into a tasty, if non-traditional game day snack. Like casinos, football also goes quite well with RV living.

Now that we're finally in a city with more than 1000 people, I was able to avail myself of some much needed salon services. I may have gotten a little carried away and decided on some fun hair color!

Isabel hasn't decided if her new tent is preferable to having her harness on to go outside, more research is needed.

There's also some pretty decent hiking here and downtown Spokane is only 10 miles away allowing us to get there with our bikes. Czytaj więcej

A quick stop on our way to Boise. Cute little town, that apparently takes Mondays off. It's also our first back-in spot (vs pull-through) and we were complimented on our parking. :)

On the way here, we tried adjusting the way we transport our e-bikes to take stress of the derailers. Unfortunately, they slipped out of part of their securing restraints. Thankfully, they did not fall off and were not damaged. We're trying a new configuration today.

We enjoyed staying in Boise for a few days. Our RV park was right next to a very long walking/biking trail that led straight downtown. We met up with some friends for dinner and they stopped by as our first official house guests--even if only for a couple of minutes.

Dinner was at an awesome steakhouse where we enjoyed a beautiful waterfront view. We had such a fun time we forgot to take pictures, but I've included some I found online. The one of the table overlooking the water was the table we ate at :) Czytaj więcej

Our last stop on the way to Vegas in the mountain town of Ely. The park we are in is really comfortable, beautiful weather and big, mature trees for lots of shade.

I haven't really been around many really big deciduous trees in the past dozen years of living in the desert or Texas Hill Country. It's so nice and an awesome taste of things to come as we continue our adventure around the continent. Czytaj więcej
