Today we spent the day in Downtown Seattle, we stayed by the airport for ease as we’re only stopping for a day before heading on to Canada.

Our last day in Alaska was unfortunately hampered by weather but we still got out and explored a bit of Anchorage, visited the Alaska Public Lands office for a national park stamp and got some lunchWeiterlesen
After our jet boat excursion was cancelled due to Ice on the river we had a slightly more relaxed morning and travelled into Talkeetna where we walked around the town, visited the ranger station andWeiterlesen
After enjoying the ATV adventure and the scenery that had to offer we were up early to head into Denali National Park.

We actually got into Whittier around Midnight as the Captain decided to come alongside early due to poor weather.

Today we mainly enjoyed the boat, spent time looking for wildlife and around 18:00 sailed into College Fjord. The weather meant it was really difficult to get a good view of the many glaciers in theWeiterlesen
Our cruise ship entered Glacier Bay National Park around 6am for a day of Glacier spotting along with some wildlife.
We managed to spot Mountain Goats, lots of Sea Otters and a Whale.

We docked in Skagway and today we had a trip booked through Chilkoot charters tracking the journey of the Klondike Gold Rush up from Skagway all the way to the Yukon.

Today we docked in Juneau and booked an excursion to visit Mendenhall Glacier alongside walk some of the Ecology trails in and around the Park. We were really lucky with the weather all day again andWeiterlesen
We arrived in Ketchikan bright and early and got the local bus ($2) to Totem Bight State Historical Park ($5) which enjoyed for about an hour before getting back on the bus to the local High SchoolWeiterlesen
