Ein bisschen was musste ich in meinem Van noch machen. Aber heute ist er endlich fertig geworden.

Das Bettgestell und das Regal daneben war schon drin, der Rest stammt von mir.

Und der Name? Es gab da diese Zeichentrickserie, Pinky and the Brain. Zwei weiße Ratten, die durch die dämlichsten Erfindungen die Weltherrschaft übernehmen wollten. Pinky war der chaotische der beiden.

Da mein Van von irgendeinem Vorbesitzer völlig ohne Sinn und Verstand zusammengezimmert wurde, kam mir das in den Sinn.

Heute Abend gegen 19:00 sind wir in Langley angekommen! Hat leider etwas länger gedauert bis wir unser Airbnb gefunden haben da die Adresse schlecht beschrieben war! Nach ner gefühlten Stunde und einigem nachfragen bei Nachbarn haben wir es dann endlich gefunden! Eine richtig schöne Wohnung in einem kleinen Eckhaus auf 3Etagen!Read more

Etwas später in den Tag gestartet, nicht die beste Idee gewesen. Vielleicht war es heute der wärmste Tag. Ich hab die ganze Zeit mein Hemd nass gemacht um etwas Abkühlung zu haben. Endlich war es mal eine relativ flache Strecke, aber natürlich mit Gegenwind, wie sollte es anders sein. Zusätzlich zu meinem Wasser noch mehr Getränke gekauft und direkt eiskalt vernichtet. In der Mittagspause noch mit steini und swenja telefoniert und dann war es gleich noch später. Nur Highway gefahren. Anfangs sehr ruhig, später sehr viel los. Für die letzten 20km musste ich mir noch einen riesigen Slurpee holen. Damit ging es dann ganz gut. 18:30 Uhr bei Jeanne und ihrem Mann angekommen. Goggle wollte die richtige Hausnummer nicht so richtig anzeigen, also musste ich kurz suchen und eine Nachricht schreiben. Aber alles gefunden und frisch geduscht sieht die Welt schon wieder viel besser aus.
Es gab nach dem Quinoasalat noch Kuchen zum Nachtisch. Den hat ein Freund der noch zum Abendessen hier war mitgebracht. Sehr netter und unterhaltsamer Abend!

After an early rise we flew to Vancouver with no dramas. Picked up our car and had an easy trip to Brett and Sue's. After a recent snowstorm there was plenty of ice on the ground still. We let ourselves in and we're greeted by a very excited and friendly dog, Drifter. The kids are in love with him and he is such a good dog.Brett arrived home not long after and soon followed by Sue and Ryan. That afternoon we went to watch Ryan play hockey and Levi was very excited to watch and especially when their team made a comeback to win. We played some games and called it a night, a great day.Read more

Another white morning. Mum and Levi went for a walk with the dog to the local park. It was beautiful with snow everywhere and later the fog rolled in. Rohan had a fever and spent most of the day on the lounge. Spent the day with family and friends nibbling, drinking and chatting. Forecast is for more snow boxing day.Read more

Wow did it snow today. Woke up to snow and then it got heavier. The boys had a blast sledding in the front yard while Uncle Brett and Dad went and played golf (indoor). An interesting drive for the visitor and these conditions.Read more
