Nothing to see except a few old buildings and an aquaduct in Gravina. Farm fields all around. Getting cooler as elevation increases.

A taste of the altitudes. Windy and chilly and wet. Lots of wind turbines.
Changing directions to avoid headwind and to stay away from the rainstorm. A ride among wind turbines.
Downhill to planes. Fierce westerly winds. Wobbly highway ride, then switched to less busy roads between Calden and Foggia.
Train to Napoli Centrale. Most regional and intercity trains accept bicycles (highspeed ones do not). Each scheduled train has room for 6 and costs €3.50 extra. It was a quick journey from Foggia.Meer informatie
A quiet day in Cagliari. Felt tired after the ferry and wanted to explore the city before leaving. Turns out there wasn't much to do. The highlight was staying in a tiny houseboat.
Getting out of Calgiari was messy. Lots of busy roads until I reached Assemini. Dense industrial areas, airport, wind turbines and a stinky refinery at Sarroch. It was beautiful at Pula and beyond.Meer informatie
Relaxed ride west in nice weather. Occasional bike lanes. Roads were unexpectedly busy. Could not find any tap water and had to buy a bottle from a supermarket.
Tailwind – Views on beautiful coast – Mining towns – Colorful sunset
Beautiful coast continues after a long climb – Lots of cyclists and motorbikers on the road – Big sand & surf – Late climb to a mountain village
