Definitely the highlight so far!! Singapore wants to be known not for the garden in the city but as the city within a garden. These gardens are truly amazing.

Caught the MRT to Marina Bay - a very easy way of travelling around - ultra clean and modern - very impressive. Marina Bay Sands is mind-blowingly

The Flower Dome has gardens from the Mediterranean and sub-tropical regions. Lots of Kangaroo Paw from Oz, enormous palms and olive trees thousands of years old. As well as amazing orchids and Czytaj więcej

The most striking structures in the gardens are the Supertrees - vertical plantings on enormous stylised trees throughout the gardens. Each night they are illuminated for a sound and light show. Czytaj więcej

Arrived safely. Good flight on a smaller plane than we'd been used to (carries about 50 people). Wonderful to see Norman and Sue again.
