Best laid plans 🤷🏻♂️ we had planned to make it all the way to Clare however after a slow rise and a morning coffee catch up with Anthony, we were slow getting on the road and also had aBaca lagi
The plan was to head to Poochera but when my cousin Anthony wrote out of the blue to see where we were and to say he was at Venus Bay it was perfect timing.
Either way it was gonna be one of ourBaca lagi
We said our farewells to amazing WA and crossed the border into SA as we began along the bight to Nullarbor Roadhouse.
The trip was just under 4 hours so we took plenty of time at several spotsBaca lagi
This was by far the longest leg of the trip that we’ve done 😵💫 but we pushed through ok.
Originally planning a long day anyway - Kalgoorlie to Caiguna - we decided to push a littleBaca lagi
Our full day in Kalgoorlie wasn’t super eventful but we had a nice time. We walked the historic Kalgoorlie main street and checked out some of the shops and also made another 2 visits to the superBaca lagi
Hyden to Kalgoorlie was a crazy drive. We tried to plan a route that would keep us on sealed roads but inevitably we ended up on some pretty wicked (good & bad) red dirt tracks. In any case the viewsBaca lagi
After lunch the kids wanted to do the amazing park on the western foreshore so I dropped the fam off there and travelled to the Giant which had the longest walk and was hardest to find - Little Lui. IBaca lagi
Town was a lot livelier today and we visited the town centre and visitors centre for a Giants of Mandurah map before heading to see a couple.

How beautiful being able to see so much lovely green grass and crops. It sounds like a lovely place Clare, you’ll have to make the effort to get back there. [Mum&Dad]
