These are two very prominent neighborhoods to visit in Lisbon for sightseeing and food. One of the popular pastries in Lisbon is Pastel de Nata, which you find everywhere in local bakeries. You also often see the Yellow trams around these places all the time. In the night you have certain streets that are full of people.

Since my hostel was around this area, most of my time was spent meeting people in cafes and restaurants in the area.Read more

One of the best ways to experience Alfama is by wandering through its winding streets and alleys, discovering hidden plazas, and enjoying the vibrant street art and colorful tiled buildings. The tiles are useful to cool the buildings during summer when it gets very warm in Lisbon.Read more
