    Lisboa

    December 27, 2015 in Portugal ⋅ ⛅ 15 °C

Stopped by in Lisboa for six hours. Instead of waiting at the airport, I went to the city an visited my favorite hostel there, the Lisbon Old Town. I met João and we talked a lot about Brasil, nice places there and where to go. Thanks for the breakfast and the company João! Always nice to meet you! On my way to the metro I couldn't walk by the Pasteiseria without having two Pasteis de Nata with coffee :-)Read more

    Church Santa Catarina alto bario-Lisbon

    June 11, 2018 in Portugal ⋅ ⛅ 68 °F

This is a church along one of the tram lines just down a street from the lookout. When you go down the side alley it leads to a restaurant, school and apartments. Good utilization of the space.

The sign we think means no commercial vehicles. In those alleys that is a good idea as they are very narrow in the historic area.

I like the street lights. We have the same one outside our window, very bright at night and very decorative.

    Lisboa pt. 2

    June 23, 2015 in Portugal ⋅ ⛅ 70 °F

The tram that inspired the Knight Bus in Harry Potter, the best pasteis de nata, and beautiful tiled streetscapes throughout the city 💕

All reasons to love this beautiful city. I'm already planning my next trip to Portugal to explore more of the country... (only a 7 hour flight from New York!)

    Walking Tour

    June 26, 2017 in Portugal ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C
