旅行者Nice description Alison. Really pleased that you are getting out and about. You are irrepressible. I understand that there are conflicting interpretations of some of the wording of the treaty. The settlers maintain that the treaty ‘cedes’ Māori land the Māoris understanding of the wording is that the land is to be ‘shared’. Make of that what you will!
旅行者They seem to have their own Nigel Farage who is moving to make changes to the treaty. All causing lots of acrimony.
