What a day!
Kelly & Brian made a wonderful couple and with their friends we had a terrific time.
Super wedding in Caesars Palace garden, drinks in the Vanderpump lounge, then off to Oscars in downtown Vegas for the wedding breakfast.
We then had a bus to the Cosmopolitan hotel for drinks.

Also today we shopped a bit and walked the strip this evening, plus ate in Paris.

Everyone left except us

Up early, took Jack & Mo to the airport. All the others leave at various times.
We sat round the pool in the hot sunshine and watched them take off.
We relaxed.
Later, into the strip for one last hurrah. Videoed the Bellagio fountains and, as Mo missed it yesterday, visited Bubba Gump's shrimp restaurant.

Wow! What a day, what a driving experience. Scenery I've never seen the likes of, deserted roads, long straight sections and passing by the lowest point in the US as well as the highest being Mount Whitney.

We're soon off for a Chinese meal but today was all about leaving the Valley and crossing the mountains towards the coast.
We drove the famous Ventura Highway, in reality a bit like the A12 in Essex.

Nothing particularly at this town just that it's a long way to San Francisco where we drive to in the morning.
En route we stopped at an attractive lake plus brunch in Santa Barbara.
The scenery is ever changing, at times we could have been in Hawaii, then Devon, then Texas or the Malvern Hills.

Good brunches again today, this time involving pancakes.
Using the buses again we visited the fancy shops then a trek through Chinatown then to the ferry terminal area.
Finished daylight hours with a drive again across the Golden Gate Bridge.
