McRoyale with Cheese anyone? And pop with a bendy straw. Their monopoly game pieces are weird. It looks like I won 100 dollars of monopoly money. IDK.

    Outlet Mall?

Just wandered here by accident... There were huge Lego display windows at the Lego store. Those Lego people in the display were almost as big as me!

    Eze and Monaco

    November 10, 2015 in France

We woke up and had breakfast in our little apartment then set off to catch the bus to Eze, a medieval perched village 30 minutes from Nice. It took us ages to find the bus stop but we found it and hoped a bus would come. The bus rolled up and we were on our way. The views along the coast were incredible. We reached Eze and headed for the garden at the top. We strolled for a while, enjoying the views. We then walked through the village - it was like stepping into a movie set. We then walked down the terrifying nietzsche path to Eze train station. It took about an hour and was mostly loose rocks with some stairs. Two stations on the train brought us to Monaco. It was super clean and the port was filled with expensive boats. We walked up to the famous casino and found somewhere to have lunch. They are doing a lot of roadwork in Monaco at the moment. Tired from our big day we caught a bus back to Nice and strolled along the Promenade De anglais to get to our apartment. We rested for a bit, enjoyed some champagne then headed to the old town for dinner. Had zucchini dumplings to start then ravioli for the main. Mine was in a traditional sauce - daube. We shared some rose wine. Creme brulee and chocolate mouse finished a good meal.Read more

    Beaujolais Camping

    May 28, 2016 in France

Well, this campground isn't quite as upscale as Paris... Only two showers and the temperature never moved above "cool", but we're only here for one night. It does have some great green space though, so a bunch of us tossed the frisbee around for a couple of hours before dinner.

I was on "cookey" duty, which is some sort of Australian slang for the people that help Angus (our personal camping chef) prepare meals. I put together a salad (greens, chick peas, tomatoes, freshly squeezed lemons, and olive oil) for the group, but don't worry, I received detailed instructions.

Tonight will be a pretty early night because we're on the road bright and early tomorrow morning for the trek to Barcelona!

Woke up to this morning to some serious rain, so we had to adjust our pack up plan. Originally, we were to have our tents ready for loading by 6:50, but we had breakfast first and tried to wait out the rain. The rain did slow down, but we definitely rushed tear down to minimize the wetness.

Cidade renascentista. Basílica Duomo com uma das maiores cúpulas. O exterior em pedra mármore verde branca e rosa. Ah e filas enormes para entrar..horas e horas ao sol e sombra. O "pombal" na ponte Vecchio são lojas de ourivesaria
