Today I visited Uminokamichi Seaside Park, a kind of large outdoor playground with a variety of things to enjoy, yet all a bit jumbled together. A car museum, water park, animal park, some rides, camping grounds, and many more. I wanted to see the Capibara, because they are cute, they also had Mara. The Animal Park was better than I expected, similar to ours in enclosure size. It was raining and I luckily found a raincoat in the park store, because I forgot to bring my own umbrella. I relaxed and drank coffee, but left early due to the bad weather. Afterwards I returned to Hakata and walked to Canal City from the train station. Canal City is a stylish and cool shopping area consisting of 4 buildings with a canal between them. The atmosphere was really cool and there were lots of people. I browsed a little and witnessed a cool Santa clause Christmas disco light show. Later that evening I met up with my friend from Korea that I originally met on Sofia. His plane got delayed and he arrived after 10pm, but we made the best out of the evening and went to canal city again for a drink and refreshments. Canal City ist ein stilvolles und cooles Einkaufsviertel, das aus 4 Gebäuden besteht, zwischen denen sich ein Kanal befindet. Die Atmosphäre war wirklich cool und es waren viele Leute da. Ich habe ein wenig gestöbert und war Zeuge einer coolen Weihnachts-Disco-Lichtshow mit dem Weihnachtsmann. Später am Abend traf ich meinen Freund aus Korea, den ich ursprünglich in Sofia getroffen hatte. Sein Flugzeug hatte Verspätung und er kam erst nach 22 Uhr an, aber wir machten das Beste aus dem Abend und fuhren noch einmal nach Canal City, um etwas zu trinken und uns zu erfrischen.
