Very hard day. 16 miles, all up. No relieve!! Got to Foncebadón which is all rock stayed at a hippie Albergue which turned out to be fantastic.
Hike in the dark to Crus Ferro. Prayed for 3 friends and myself and deposited their rock on the pile. The rest of the day was coming down the mountain. Very hard !
Beautiful walk today through vineyards, cherry orchards and small villages. Villafranca is one of the most beautiful towns I’ve ever seen.
A 15 mile day mostly flat until you got to the last 2.5 miles. Then, it was straight up!!! The scenery was breathtaking. Reminded of Southern Oregon and Northern California. I crossed the 400Läs mer
Only ten miles today. But it was a challenging hike climbing mountains. I entered Galica. The scenery is gorgeous.
