Looking into the crate of Vesuvius is scary. There was a distinct smell of rotten eggs in the air (sulfur) and the rocks were shiny. The view was incredible and we could see very far.

Our last day of Split was spent in a town called Bol on one of the many Croatian islands. It was very sweet and peaceful, finished off with a wonderful meal to top it off.

Travelling over water was fun! We took a ferry from the large harbour of Split to an island called Hvar. It was very hot there, and lively. We went up another hill to see a great view of the sea.
