The eclipse was a bit cloudy, but we had a great day exploring the City, riding the cable cars, yummy food at Union Square, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, and of course, Lombard Street.
More San Francisco fun, views of Alcatraz, Golden Gate, and the sea lions at Pier 39.
Great evening in San Francisco so far, delicious authentic fish and chips, some cool (and creepy) old arcade games at the Musee Mecanique, and so cool (and tasty) seeing how they make bread at Boudin.
Celebrated Mel's sister's wedding and got to see a lot of Mel's family we haven't seen in a long time, some we've never met.
Short stop in Solvang for a walk, some aebleskivers, and a little learning about the Danish, Vikings, and Hans Christian Andersen.
I'm so sad it went by so quickly I think I'm going to miss that view
Sad to be leaving all our friends and family in San Diego, and thankful that, amazingly, everything fit back in the car! Thanks for a great summer, we will miss you:(
