Pancha Dan is an annual festival in Bhaktipur. It's a festival of 5 gods (Buddhas) - that represent generosity and giving. As a result, Leo is given offerings of bananas and packets of biscuits everywhere we go! These photos were taken on the final night of the festival which lasts three days. We were walking home from The Pottery Training Centre and were swept up, quite unexpectedly, in the joyful cacophony and frantic energy.
